This suit is based on HTC applications skinned to glossy vista look and includes:

- home (icons, clock, background)
- Commmanager
- Action screen
- Dialer
- Calculator
- Windows media player
- Audio manager
- Cube
- Today theme
- Slither SCLPC++ Cube (4th menu)
- PocketCM contacts

Update 3/9/08

- Updated the Audio manager to the latest version V.121017717
- Fixed the calculator display, now you can see the numbers as clear as it can be.
- Added the Wifi button, if you have wifi hardware button you need to turn the switch on in order for it to work.
- Added Slither's SCLPC++ Cube Skin (if you want the cube with 4th menu, I suggest you use this one)
- Added PocketCM skin with the help of DvTonder
- Fixed the windows media player seekthumb (scrolling button that was flickering in landscape mode)
- Added the folder contains all the graphics for whom that has HTC applications built in their ROM. Backup you original files from \windows folder before you overwrite them with my files.

HTC's black-panel-like though looks fantastic, the incongruity with WM6's crystaline visual effect exits. By contrast, this Vista-style will defenitely match WM6 and leave rooms for more talented to develop more gorgeous skins without gettng odd with shipped design^^

For now I just made a skin for the original cube, Im not sure if I implement it with slither flash cube with 4th menu or original cube that works with all devices.

Update: I finally finished all the main graphics, all I have to do is work on pressed icons masks. I will keep you guys updated, in the main while check the little demo I made so far, copyright for now because the skin is not done yet, as soon as I release it then you guys can modify whatever you want.

this cube is based on kona's cube, I made my own cab, it does not overwrite the graphics, you need to remove your cube in order to install, but I will post the graphics spearatly to whom want to just overwrite the graphics on their cube.
did you unzip the file then move it to your device?

Yes, I unzipped the file onto my PC, then transfered the .cab file to my Touch and ran it. Unfortunately I get an error message.

Working beautifully on my 8525 w/ AT&T WM6. Really nice graphics, thank you so much!

One thing of note: When using Audio Manager minimized (so that it's playing in the cube) it reverts back to the grey skin on that side. I use WMP mostly anyway, so it doesn't bother me much.

I will tonight update the 1st post and upload two files, one is for people who doesnt have the cube, so they can install it from scratch and one for people who already have the cube built in their rom.
Note: this graphics are for original cubes which is 6 icons for applauncher and 3 icons mediahub

Thanks for the update, however I've noticed a few bugs:

When starting the cube it seems as though not all of the animations have been redone, as when the cube rises you can see the original cube flicker in and out until the cube is all the way "maximized" showing the vista skin. This is also the case when swiping from side to side and also downwards. The other bug I noticed is that the 6 App side is not skinned. It shows the original cube gray skin and icons. When swiping to that side it briefly shows the skinned version, yet ends on the gray version.

All the graphics are redone beside the commmanager as my device didnt come with the cube that has an audio manager built in cube, did you install just the graphics or the full cube? and what original cube did you have? have you reboot after the install?

I think I will need newest vesrion of biotouch, that allows you to have 4 sides and 3x4 appluancher, I think kona is coming out with newer versionof his cube, I contacted him to help him out with new application menu but he didnt get back to me yet, as soon as he release it I will skin it for sure.

the best way to make your background and your own icons, convert all the files from the original cube .brn to .bmp using brntobmp converter, with photoshop put all the graphics together as it real cube, then start working over them using new layers. if you just change the background it wont work because the icons are salad and not transparent.

I have the youtube video in the 1st post I dont know is you saw it.
I'm gonna go ahead and post the vista cube for sprinttouch, I just got the response from people testing that works great.
for the German OS I believe is that due to the program files folder had different name in German language, if someone can translate the path /Program Files/TFloCube/TFloCubeCtrl.exe in FtouchFloconfig.txt to German, I believe it will work.

Really like your colorful cube. It also opens up very well, closes, spins, without a problem.

Can you please help with these questions?
1. When I finish with IE or any other programs on that face of the cube, it closes the cube. Is there any way to come back to that face?
2. I can save the program name in Touchflowsettings but cannot change the icons to match. Am I doing something wrong?
3. Any chance of having the 4th face of the cube where you can save many programs?

Try to uninstall slither's cube completely, unzip the 1st file, then run the cab file in your device and let me know if it still giving you the same error.

Tried both on my Trinity and get the same error message. Your application runs OK though, i also get a slew of errors when i try to save after changing default applications etc, eg changing Audio Manager to Media Player, i don't have the audio manager on my Trinity. The application linked to fails to even start.

i had similar problems with mine but did get the applications changed using the touch settings. change one app and 'save' do not reset the device. go back into touch settings change the same app, and then change a second app. save and reset the device. on mine the first change then had taken. have to do the apps one at a time and took me a while but totaly change the launcher and media hub apps now. the only issue i have now is had to use the origional htc graphics then as the icons i needed did not fit in with the vista cube :( - sorry PD

In german OS the program files are called programme.
I was able to change this path for the gestures and so I was able to start the cube.

I can confirm that both your CAB and Xplode's CAB work on my BA. The only thing missing as of now is the 4th face of the cube. All else works just fine.

I confirm that Cube is working with WM5 as you adviced I have uninstalled some old applications stored in the device to let "the cube installation" finished.

Now I have another little noob problem... :D Is there any tutorial that explains how to use the cube ?
I can navigate through the three faces available with predifined applications (SMS, Mails etc...), contact manager and photo,video,camera faces but what else ?

I have seen that a TouchFlo config application is avalaible to add other specific applications but how can we access them ?

To Fix Screen alignment issues
Run touchflo.config in Touchflo folder and untick in general tab touchflo this will ask you to soft reset your device. after soft reset you can then re-align your screen. to activate cube again just enable ftouchflo in touchflo.config again.

Reason is ... there's a conflict with ftouchflo running which stops the screen alignment configuring properly.

or

Check your startup folder and MOVE any *flo* links to another place ...reboot... do your alignments and then put the shortcuts back... reboot

if you have the stock contact that comes with titan, you should be able to swipe your fingers up and down to scroll, sometimes you will accidentally open the cube till you get use to it.

Let me say that I really, really hate when people show and advertise a product with detailed specs as HTC E-Learning and end up getting just part of it.

But the Kaiser, TyTN II, 8925 and P4550 are the same as the TILT.

Tilt, aka TyTN II, 8925 and P4550 and if you go to the HTC.com you will see it as TyTN II.

The curious thing is that AT&T says that is AT&T Tilt or AT&T 8925, and when I look in: settings / system / "Device Information" / Identity; it says: Model No.: Kaiser

and when I go to: settings / system / About / Device ID ; it says HTC - 8900.

Now suposedly the AT&T 8900 is the one without the Picture Camera ( if it is that exist) and the AT&T 8925 isthe one with Picture Camera, which is the one that I was supossed to have but the Device ID says 8900 (which you can edit because it is the ID the phone uses to Identify itself to other computers).

Huuummmm! it looks that they are playing with the customers.


REGARDING TOUCHFLO you can TRY Kaiser Tweak they say it works, if you don't want to mess directly with the Registry.

It didn't work for me, THE SAME as YOU, I have Problems with that Part.

As far as I heard, it is supossed to bring it up from the bottom first and then navigate it to left or the other way.

i am running the 6 tab home plug as well i am aware that most loose the quickdial tab so not a problem but since installing the cube the Weather tab has stopped working

this i can live without but even though i have the home config tool(emuntz ver 1.5) i can't get rid of the tab.

well Ive done everything pretty much with HTC style, Now I will start with vista themes, after the vista cube I will work on Dual commmanager, dialer, HTC home, calculator and today screen to complete the theme, when everything is done I will move on to the Iphone themes.

3 zip files uploaded:

- Vista Cube full application.zip (for whom never had the cube and want a fresh install with this vista cube, also whom has a 50% working cube and want the 100% working cube with quickdial fix and a working TouchSettings, but requires that u uninstall any exciting cube you have first)

- vista cube for excisting cubes_replaces graphics only.zip (this one is for whom has the cube built in ROM and just need to replace the graphics with vista, I added in the .cab the applauncher registry tweak to remove the the icons title and switch the email to the right and sms to the left upon the requirement of the graphics)

-poorlyduck Original cube backup graphics.cab (this is the backup of the orignal cube graphics and applauncher registry, just in case you decide to go back to the original htc cube)

-VistaCube_SprintTouchOnly_by_Poorlyduck.cab (this cab file only for SprintTouch (Vogue) owners can use as it has more frames and different registry entry's, when you uninstall the vista, the original cube automaticly comes back after a soft reset)

The cube based on Kona_Mtbkr cube (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=343583), everything works great, fast animation and Quickdial works without a hitch, if you have any question concerning the application itself please visit the thread provided above, but I will be happy to answer your question concerning the graphics in this thread.

Thanx to Kona_Mtbkr for making the cube work for every device and thank you efrost for creating FtouchFlo, if it wasnt him, none of us non touch owners would never had a fully working cube and than to xplode for putting all the files together in one cab.

I am using Atom with Jiggs' WM6 7.0.a ROM. I iinstalled the application many times but when I restart, it always says that "QuickDial is not available" and therefore, cannot launch the dialer. Any idea?

that six sided, with your drop dead good looks on your skins...that would be a sight to behold.

Would you mind adding the media player face of the cube. When I install your cube on my Sprint Touch all the other faces look great, but while Windows Media player is running the Multimedia face reverts back to the original Touch.

Is not a file... is a registry entry that you need to delete.. using a registry editor (like PHM Regedit)..

I probably shouldn't say this when it is not even out yet, but I hope you would also consider doing an alternative Vista version based on the black/dark blue vista (I believe most places have it called Vista Ultimate theme). Viewability might be better in certain conditions with a "darker" theme.

Looks awesome! I think I might actually have to try this, event though I'm not too keen on changing my theme as it's pretty nice looking already. Now I just need to find appropriate skins for S2U2 and PocketCM.
