TCPMP No Sound!

"Wave Output Device error"

HI guys I have installed mary 3.4.1 every thing was working fine with it.

I installed the TCPMP player and watched a few small Divx files to check it out. Everything was fine then the above message appeared. ( after 20 mins )

The phones ringtone does not work, nor does the alarm work.

Basicly I have no sound.

Can some one help please.

Have you found the solution. I basically got the same problem today, after installation of some bluetooth updates. Really frustrated.

It might be a driver problem.
Check your registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\WaveDev and look for the keys DLL and Old Driver and their values. They basically describe your current driver (DLL) and your previous driver (Old Driver).
You might want to switch the values for those two.

I understand this isn't related to the ROM specified above. I have the standard WM5 MDA and getting the same error message all of a sudden...what should I be looking for in the WaveDeve registry entry? I see Dll, IClass, Index, Order and Prefix using PHM Regedit...the only value I see in Dll is "wavedev.dll"...any help would be appreciated...thanks!
