Changing Device ID

I've just updated the ROM on my Orange SPV M700 to ADW version 1.1. The GPS software I had installed was Navigon. I've just reinstalled it and my device ID has changed.Is it possible to edit the registry and change my device ID to what it was before I did the ROM upgrade?

To change your Device ID, go to Start -> Settings -> System Tab -> About -> Device ID Tab.

There you can change your Device ID and Description.

Had the same problem with Navigon. You can call the Navigon helpline and they will generate a new key for your device. Just explain that you upgraded the firmware of the pda.
