GoogleMap has incorporated a very useful feature so that you can know where you are even if there is no GPS reception. To do this, you need to download the newest version of googlemap, available from here

who cares we all have gps :D

if you dont have gps reception then you need to come back to earth or be patient of wait another minute

im not trying to be an as*hole eaglesteve im just saying :D....

Yet I suppose the reason for this new feature is for those moment when there is no GPS signal. Dense trees... Tall building...

I have many othe GPS software too. I normally use iGO my way and Tom Tom. But it doesn't mean I don't use google maps. It's one more nice toy.
