When I received my Wing, I tried loading the Google Gmail application, but it would not work. First I would get errors saying that the program had Java exception errors. To solve this, I installed EsmertecJbed found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1483665&postcount=24

The application would now load, but gave off an error saying that I couldn't run the app because I didn't have the correct certificate. I installed this:

https://www.verisign.com/cgi-bin/support/rootcert/getrootcert.cer

and was good to go. I'm not sure if this version of java causes a memory leak or a cpu load, but it will slow down my wing after being left on for more than a couple hours.

I was able to run Mobile Opera after using the other version of Java (I couldn't before, threw off a java exception error).

btw, my Wing is running wm6

Why didn't you just add gmail to Outlook on your phone?

Weird. . .

Yeah, seems like a lot of steps for something the Wing does out the box. No GMail app needed.
