Holux Gr-236

Hi,
I asked a mate to buy for me from Shanghai an Holux gr236 to use with my htc magician (qtek s110).
The reseller told him that the unit does not work with TomTom and I browsed the website here and couldn't find any compatibility problems for tomtom and Holux gr236.
What's that story about? Is there any users of tomtom with Holux gr236 / htc magician that can confirm this matter?

I have holux gr236 running perfectly with qtek s100 and Tomtom. Store dependants do say things they have heard and most times they're wrong, never hear them ;)
