Touch Dual English ROM wanted

Sorry for cross-posting, but I'm in dire need of an English ROM. I love the unit, but hate the OS language. Been torn between throwing it in the wall and sleeping with it ;)

I've an English Touch dual, but with a 20 keys keyboard.... I can try to dump my ROM, but I'm not sure it's going to work with a 16 keys keyboard... what kind of hardware do you have ??

hmmm...16 key keyboard. As soon as I figure out how to dump the ROM I could test and see what happens ;)

Have you successfully dumped yours ?

Still reading and learning how to do it.... it's easier to do the opposite, but the keyboard layout can be a problem... I'll let you know...

Dumping using the method for the Touch does not work for some reason... At a first glance, it appears that the reason is the allocation units on the device being different but I think there is more to it

I have a Norwegian HTC Touch Dual as well. I cannot figure out how to change the OS language to English. Have you guys got a way out yet?

Is there any standard WWE ROM somewhere ?? Or everybody uses the HTC Asia ROM instead ?

The 1.31.707.09 (HTCAsia WWE) ROM is English, thats what I'm using on a 16 Key Dual

Yes Klutsh, I already changed my HTC French ROM against the HTCAsia WWE...

The problem is, I cannot receive MMS in my country... and I use the same settings I used before with my French ROM.... I mean, automatic settings supplied by HTC for my provider...

I'd like to try another ROM just to know if it's a ROM or radio problem..

ok Michael..!
Now u need dump your old french rom.With it tazio tool, 0x800
And find all cab files in dump.Copy in your device and install it.I think will have cab settings mms french in old rom :)

Solution found, any usual photo/picture work... I cannot receive HTC templates (Smile, Boiing).. must be the file format.... weird....
