its so annoying! all the text on the screen and stuff is like jaggy idk really how to explain it its like a game that has no anti aliasing enabled. Its even like this on pictures, while using internet explorer etc.. is this just how the screen is or what?

If I had to guess, it's because the LCD is actually VGA (look for the spaces between the pixels- you cant see them!) but currently WM6 Standard doesnt support VGA resolution yet. Just a hunch!

At a guess I suspect you either somehow have turned off Cleartype antialiasing, or you've got a bad Shadow.
Some people complained that the background made their text looked jaggy, but I didn't find this to be true.

After some research and some feedback from our HTC rep (I work for TMO) I now know that 1st gen shadows did indeed come out with VGA screens, but WM6 does not support VGA. Its like watching standard-def shows on a high-def tv-- it sucks. All newer models have QVGA screens. Call our warranty exchange department and get a new one if you'd like 1-800-937-8997
