I can't wait till you release the next ROM, but I have a little issue with your current.

You included BatteryStatus which is maybe nice, but now (after like a month of usage) it starts popping up messages with 'BatteryStatus is shareware! Stop using it!'. Now I've never seen that message before, while I've been using it for a long time on differents ROM's so I wonder what's going on..The same thing !

Manila is in an alpha stage, and is not even close to be run clean on a touch (in fact the one leaked is for a VGA device)
And the suprise was the 6.1 rom Bram already told us :P

But i hope the manila project will take a fast leap to "good usage" because i very interested

I don't think Bram will release a Danish rom, first he will release the WWE rom and then he will take a look at the Dutch rom.. so if there is going to be a Danish rom you will have to wait your turn :P

I totally agree with you martin, and I don't think that Bram cooks this Roms to compete with other cookers or anything. I think that he just cooks them because he likes to share them with other people. So just don't compare between cooks please.

I've tried just about every rom posted on the forum over the past 3 or 4 months, and was the same when I used my hermes.

I think all the rom cookers are great, they have their own styles and each to their own, I've liked parts of just about each rom, its not a case of one is better than another, just finding the one thats the best match for you...

Great news, the users with the normal touch we are grateful for it to you because lately all the roms go out with 8Mb of pool and we cannot change like this pool for what we do not use these roms because it remains very few free ram. Thank you, we will hope with longing that Friday should come

The problems that i had building the rom are not solved yet, so thats why you havent got you beta copy yet. think i'm gonna revert back to an working backup of this rom, and test thsi with every step ive made.

Changing the pp isn't that hard so i'll make one 8mb and one 4mb

TS_OEM_6.1.2.23 is based on 2.21.710.2b but i've made so many changes/fixes/mods/additions that i gave it my own build number.

The os is changed from wm 6.0 to wm 6.1, so the os build numbers are different.

I'm anxiously waiting for tomorrow. The ROM I know have is not to my liking. Too many glitches and fatal choices. Very few software. I even had to install MSN messenger myself.. It's Shadow's ROM by the way.
So I'm looking forward to tomorrow, finally some good ROM to use on my phone for a decent time. Any chance you can pass me the beta today, I'd be even more happy.. I'd prefer having the dutch version, but I guess I'll have to wait for that somewhat longer. In the meantime enjoying the WWE edition!

This could mean the beginning of a fully personalised rom with your base.

Each user his own cabs and you will only have to cook your basic rom without for example an out dated Advanced configuration or batterystatus.

It would be up to the users to update their cabs on the SD card.

I could also mean that you could make a base rom and for example 4 "standard" extension folders. Short example

You offer the base rom in your first post, and besides that you offer package 1. with only some basic addons, package 2 with some more package 3 even more. package 4 Bloated as hell with all the apps people could find.

People make a choice of wich one they download install it on their SD before flashing and kaboom you've just released f4 different roms with 1 base.

Think about it.

I've been playing with the 19521 build.

S.L.O.W.

Even when i disable a lot of stuff it seems to have incorrect graphics drivers or somethin, especially noted when running Apps with Animation.

Also the Nhubie 19521 build has stuff in therethat HTC stopped using months ago. So it's a very strange WM6.1 build,

So i hope your having progress with Bepe's 999 Build.

Only good thing about Nhubie's Rom is 4 MP PP Prolly chabgeable to.

My device passed out before my eyes this morning...
Stood up with a great need of cooking, flashed the first test rom of this day and the device wont turn on anymore... it died...

So straight away calling with my provider and turning my phone over to htc, but i wont get it back within 1-2 weeks i guess... so i cant test things out.

The rom is almost finished but not yet stable enough for a release.
I made a deal with my brother to borrow his device when he's not using it, but so i cant cook very long...

I know it's sad, but i want to provide you guys with the best possible rom, so i extend the release date.

Can;t say when its finished, but i'll try to work hard and keep you guys informed about the progress.

This is a very nice offer but i must refuse it.
My phone is currently at/on its way to htc and propably being fixed.
When the don't fix it i may think of getting a new one, but that's still far ahead.

But i just looked at marktplaats and there are multiple touches for low prices even a dual for € 110 :eek: only thing is it got bite marks, but it would be perfect for cooking but now i'm drifting off, it's about a normal touch :P

I think that if you put so much energy and afford in making a ROM it doesn't feel right to hand it over to somebody else.

I would be to proud for that! On the other hand, it wouldn't be Bram's ROM. A new person will make adjustments etc.

So I believe we need more donations. We're now at € 50,00 and need about € 200,00. Every Euro is needed, so if you want to donate 1 or 2 Euro, let me know. Do it by sending me a PM, if you don't like to tell about a small amount on the forum.

Bram is into sharing.

But also it's understandable. When you do a personal rom it's your little baby. You get your hands dirty and flashed many time to test. You want to finish the job yourself.

He could finish the Rom but not test it.

He likes to release tested Roms and thats a good quality.

And if somone has only a view posts it's easy to read them and judge his level of knowledge. And then you make the judgement if you let the flower nourish itself or that you give it a drop of water....... Blah.

If been visiting XDA for over 5 years. But only an active poster the last year.

So yes it doesn't always say anything.

Shamefull to who? I cant continue to build my rom, because my touch is broken. So these guys here are willing to donate to me for a new touch, and when i have the touch i can continue building on my rom.

If you don't like to read this thread, read another one. And i'll inform you when i got a new touch so we can talk technical here.

Please help me, I am the owner of a dutch elf0100 and did something stupid. I tried to upload a elfin rom. About half way thru the upload process the connection was terminated (probably when the ROM of the elf was full). Now the elf only starts up into "smart mobility" screen. After this nothing happens.

I tried to re-run loads of different ROM's. Also the various original dutch ROM's. I can get it into bootloader and try. All ROM's stop at 3% when the phone hard resets itself. I also tried a lot of ROM's via the SD card method with ELF0IMG.nbh but get message invalid certivicate. The phone was an non branded dutch phone.

SPL1.11.0000

The original factory ROM I don't have but a while ago I did upload and use,
Blue_Touch_2.20WWE_Build_18521_4MBPP_V2.01

Since WM 6.1 came out I tried to upload a newer rom a couple of days ago. That is where I messed up.

Don't forget to CID unlock after this original rom. After that you can flash to an other rom again.

Well i will upload the rom i use to rescue my elf from a early passing away.

did you left the mtty program open while trying to flash the device? in my case it only works when it's still open. And did you close the activesync connection ? (i think you did but just to be on the safe side)

I will post the link to the rom a soon as i uploaded it.

What has changed is that I now have RUU at the top right of the screen in bootloader, I haven't seen that before there.

:( After downoading and trying it again the 294 "Invalid Vender ID" message.

Hard reset the device, the RUU in right top was gone and tried the last ROM again but again 294 "Invalid Vender ID" message

Tried mtty and the last ROM (left Mtty on) and still 294 "Invalid Vender ID" message.

More options?

PS: During the upload the phone ROM updater has the ability to show what is on the device, on my device it never shows anything. So it looks like there is nothing on the device.

Does anyone have more options what to do, last night I tried at least 28 different ROM's. This includes the "official" HTC ROM's that I found in this forum. I was supposed to need the official dutch non branded one but the once I tried give me "incorrect vender ID". Others give me "the image is corrupt" error.
I do have spl 1.11.0000 and ipl 1.11.002 but when running mtty I also have "g_cKeyCardSecurityLevel = FF" (doesn't this mean the elf0100 is still locked????).
Anyone who is able to help me and fix my Touch will get a reward (ofcourse I descide what) :-)
