Camera quality tweaks...

There are lots of Posts with this Topic, especially the things like reduce auto sharpening and contrast which help much pretty.

But most relevant to Image quality is the jpg compression. Is there a way to reduce the compression and make the files larger?
Think this is an internal setting of the camera app that cant be set by normal menu, but there have to be a way in the registry or some hackers have found another way to do this?!

Sure, nobody buys a ppc for his photo capabilities, but why not make the best of the hardware thats possible.

How about a wiki add-on only for camera tips and tricks?

And if somebody is aksing himself, yes, i am for long time hobby and semi professional photographer...

i also would like to tweak my camera a little bit.
i had older vga cams which made better pictures than my hermes..
any apps or settings tweaking? :confused:

Hi, I have the same problem with original soft. But, do you know "cool camera"? In my point of view is better, allow changing compression, contrast and any more things.

Are the default settings of cool camera good enough or do i have to tweak a little?

I thing that you must tweak a little, but cool camera allows more option and it results are better. Try it! and please tell me your opinion.

That app doesn't support video on Hermes. So you are paying for features you can't use. Worth keeping in mind. The camera functions may be good but the main selling points on their website don't apply to the Hermes with regards to video.
