Hello everyone..

Sorry to ask, but I'm a bit of a newbie. I got a code for my HTC 630 now, but I don't know how to enter it in my phone..

Can anyone help? :o I tried entering it from the main menu, but that didn't seem to work.
I also tried booting with a different SIM card inside from a different company, but I didn't get a unlock menu for entering my code in....

this means that your device is sim unlocked .. :) no need to use the code
you only use it if you insert a sim from another company and THEN it will ask you for the code

but my x02ht says invalid sim and then says no service.. any ideas on that?

this when the code comes in handy , you should enter the code then.
where did you get this code from ?
i am not sure about this .but. if you tried unlocking it with any other software like lokiwiz then "maybe" you should hard reset your device before trying again .

"SIM Lock
You have tried X times , please wait until timout
to make an emergancy call, type emergency nimber then tap emergancy "
and a ext box right under it ,and the ok button is dimmed
then after a while the ok is active again , you shloud then enter the code you got from tupidsin and it should work.

I never said tap on the emergency :) . you are going to get yourself into trouble man .. really :eek: calling 911 to unlock your device .. :confused:

the steps are
1- turn off device .
2- put "another" sim from "another" compay"
3- turn on the device
4- enter you unlock code in the "TEXT box" -i missed the t before the ext sorry-
5-press ok
if the code is not right you will get an "invalid code " message

does it say you must wait for timeout ?
if it does you will ave to wait for a whil until the timeout is over and then the ok button will be active
how any times did you try to enter it ?

Just in case, What does it mean "timeout"?
I think "timeout" means it appears "SIM Lock, You can still make emergency calls if your service provider supports it.".

OK, I'm going to write followings...

1. Turn on device
2. Start up WM6
3. appears Main Screen of WM6 Std.
4. almost 60 sec later, appears followings

5. I wated for a while(3min over), no change screen, no appear "OK"
and "Emergency" is still dimmed.

7. push green phone button... flash screen... but no change
and "Emergency" is still dimmed.

That's all what I did.

Arex . just for your info . the unlock code can only work with your imei .so even if you post it on a public website it is useless for anyone except you . The owenr of the device with the imei that the unlock code coressponds to .
i am not sure why you do not have the "OK" button . but unless it is there i guess you will not be able to unlock the device .
are you using english language for your device ?
is the sim card you are using for the unlock working ?? try using another SIM card than the one you are using now .'very long shot BTW'

I have a SoftBank X02HT and am also having problems with the unlock. I get the same thing as arex77 -- no OK button to click.

I'm going to try a different SIM later today and see if that makes any difference but I don't expect too much unfortunately.

If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them. I'm rapidly running up roaming fees while home for Christmas.

i think you may want to try info@3siu.com You need to send it the phone and the USD$90(with Shipping Cost) to thier office.And they will change the rom for you too, any language you like, Japan, ENG or Traditional Chinese.

I did not say that the code from tupidsin is not valid .. you have no OK button .. this is the problem
if you have the OK button then it will be no problem . but the case is you DON't . so this is may require hardware .. PLEASE DO NOT SAY ANYTHING THAT I DID NOT SAY

You need to flash it to english rom first.

if your xo2ht is oredy wm6 english version, try reinstall it.

This thing happen with my previous x01ht, no ok button as well.
I install the official wm6, then input the code

as far as i know, the code from tupisdin always work

Hello there,

question to the community: I bought an unlocked X02HT with a Dopod c730 ROM.

Now my question: what do I need to do to get it working like a X02HT on Softbank? :o:rolleyes:

What I want to do is:

-input and read Japanese (CE should do the trick)
-send and receive S!Mail (incl. emoticons)
-use the push mail service of Softbank
-Browse the web (and if possible the Y!mobile pages of Softbank)

Of course I do not want to lose my unlocked status as I want to use it with other carriers when I am abroad

Help deeply appreciated...:)

:rolleyes: Yes, I did it and it works I mean it is unlocked
however error message it stays which diplays " no sim or incorrect sim" such message as you may know. It is exactly same phonomena as X01HT.
Now I am asking support to provide me the software to cancel this message like SB_SIM for X01HT.

As soon as they provide this canceling software, you can try it I think.
We wait and see

hello again hm hm interesting....

1. i wonder if it is possible to use this service for unlocking the x02ht and keep the softbank rom and so have all the functions of the softbank phone (on the softbank network) plus the option to pop in another sim card when going abroad and to use the device with a different local carrier (phone call, sms, web).

2. other option is to have an unlocked x02ht with the dopod rom and install all the soft that is necessary to use it on softbank network for writing&receiving mails (email and s!mail) and browsing the web. I have an unlocked x03ht with a dopod rom but no clue how to make it work on softbank (apart from placing phone calls or receiving simple sms)

any ideas, help, feedback highly appreciated.

I was ask the guy how to keep the Jap version, they said they will creat the cab file to who buy the log from them. Just install the cab file the error message will disappear.

1. S! Mail
2. Various Japanese functionality
3. and most importantly - Softbank teigaku plan (Does it have the password for 'open.softbank.ne.jp' ??

I am about to ask for my money from these guys since it was not informed that a ROM upgrade would be required to unlock the phone, and the risk of losing all you can use data plan is simply too great.
(Also, Yahoo Auction in Japan is cracking down on users who sell hacked phones, so if I unlock it but can't use with fixed data plan, I won't be able to get rid of it - I got my seller's account locked!!)

I have the softbank x02ht, and it was unlocked and working fine. A couple of days ago I installed the Blackberry client for smartphone 6 standard, and after a reset required by the software, my phone stays at the windows mobile screen. Activesync says that I should first unlock my phone before connecting it. The problem is that I can do nothing with it as it is, but if my simcard is in it and I receive a call the call comes through correctly. I am in europe right now.

Do you know what the problem might be? is it a provider lock, a sim lock, or something else?

If I try flashing it to the dopod rom will it work?

I tried to install a new firmware, but I can't unblock the phone.. If i use the SDA_ApplicationUnlock, it says "Phone is not unlockable" ... I tried to install a .cab (During the first 30 seconds that the phone allow me to run before the SIN Lock message) but it doesn't work because this .cab are not digitally signed...

All are problems and this is starting being frustrating... :(
