i am using a chinese versin of gene or dopod d600
could anyone send me a "file exploer" which should be a standard software in the ppc. But we don't have it in china:(

hey u can download Resco Explorer. It comes in with various plugins.. its i english although.but its goooood..

Hey nyxneo, I do have a newer Rom but How can I post it to u:confused::confused:
I think it is the same as That of eh_ansari.:rolleyes: but u have to take care not to install the arabic in the extrom:p.

dopod d600 has the "file explorer" installed in the chinese version
Usually it should be located under "program" but they put it under "start"
i must be blind when i start searching through all the system

hi guys..

nice to have a forum for gene....

i've have a dopod d600...i have a little problem with this one...i've been using this for 8-9 months...now there are multiple taps on the screen automatically...it goes on for about 9-10 times and stops on its own...it looks as if my dopod is possesed....ghost!!!!

i'm not a technical person...i'm a doctor...but i managed to do rom upgrade from 1.02 to 1.07wwe...

any help would be great....coZ when i'm in a call the call goes to hold mode automatically and even if i unhold it goes back to hold mode...about 7-8 times then becomes ok.....

help guys..

Its not the software,its the actual buttons that keep getting 'locked up' in the same position(I used to get that with the action button) Try checking that.

thanx guys for the words of wisdom...
the action button was indead the problem now i've fixed it and the phone works great.....about the 1.07 wwe version i got it from on of the forums here in xda-developers....go to search button on this website search "gene" watch the last colum for gene related topics....i used to get "invalid vendor error"...then i used FlashBootSplash also available on that forum page followed the instruction given in the read me file and lo behold i have 1.07 now..very happy....if there still is a problem i will upload once i get back (i'm going out of the country for 2 weeks)

its simple to have this kind of luk ..just u need wisbar advance 3 or 2 nd u nead htc home plugin nd I think those upper icons r of sbp plus ....I think that will do all ...
