Need Original HTC Touch Dual Dialer Skin!

I have almost completely de-branded my Orange Dual excepty for the hideous Orange themed dialer skin which seems it's cooked into their ROM aarrrghhh!!!

So if anyone has the original HTC Branded Touch Dual Dialer skin please if you can dump it here, a zip file or a cab file either will do;)

I've just dumped the ROM so let me see if I can make a CAB for the dialer and upload it for you

the original one in touch dual is different from that one. (similar colors though)

I'm sure you must be busy with other things but any news on the dialer cab mkhattab? as you can see there's quite few of us here, just hate the hideous Orange dialer!

actually i want the original one becos i think its cool enough..
i have actually installed a cab file for a VERY NICE iphone dialer, which looks perfect..works well too...but it hangs if i talk for too long without touching the screen...(the fix is to just off the power while speaking)..but still sometimes u forget...and it hangs)..but very nice graphics though...the fish thing...

Yes I would like the Touch Dual Dialer Skin as well.

The orange one if FOUL it ruins the device! I've managed to get rid of all the other icons etc by restarting upon customization after a hard reset.

Ill split open the ROM when I have time this week and extract the relevant Touch Dual Files to make it cleaner (:

Has anyone extracted the dial files from the original HTC dual WEE ROM yet? If you have please post it here, I'll see if can make a CAB install. Thanks!

Yes. The only guy that's managed to do it is Duttythroy who has incorporated it into his latest Kaiser ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=353902)

I have sent him a PM requesting the OEM or CAB files suggesting a Donation if he would prefer but he hasn't replied yet (understandably being Christmas Day).

I'm not sure if he will post the files as they aren't even in his Kaiser Cab Collection FTP (http://www.cinetsystems.com/xda/index.php?path=Kaiser+Cab+Collections/) yet (unless I am stupid and cannot see it).

I've got the same thing, I just assumed it's like this or am I wrong? Anybody with the original unbranded HTC touch dual ROM can you confirm this please!

Same problem for me. grey color...

anyone find a solution about the debrand orange model? My italian one was debranded easily...just hard reset..then soft reset...

Not really... It's just the dialer that doesn't change.

Just flash a different ROM.

This is what the dialer looks like on my Nike.

I havnt got the foggiest how to rip it from the ROM, I have all the .raw files if anyone wants 'em.

You'd have to do a ROM dump and then just copy out the RGU and Dialer files (images etc) but you may as well just flash the HTC ROM.

surely flashing the room all'll be ok...just wait for the 6.1 room :)
but what i cant understand its the different between the brand.
my italian one (portoghese and more other) was easy to debrand...the damn orange one no!!!why? when i do hard reset and before to perform a SR i saw the same information about the branded room...but after .... the orange room go up again!!!:confused::confused::confused:

That cab doesn't have several textColor and textDisabledColor registry values that's why the dialer is using the default ones. It worked perfectly fine on TyTN but the text was green. So I have fixed the cab and now everything is the way it's supposed to be.

Sorry, It was too big for me, the install failed. The original skin as 207Kb, this one is 3500 ! What a difference. Got a solution ?

I am from Taiwan, and want to make some modification for server keys to dialpad to have contact person coule be able searched by Pinyin we used here.

Please let me know how to have the modified keys being able to be updated in PPC device \windows directory, or anybody could help me to complete this.

i should state that i did this more than half a year ago, so i don't quite remember if this gets rid of the dialer as well, but it's worth a try!

the easiest is probably to hard reset the device, and after the time setting and screen calibration, it says it will begin customization in 3 seconds. at that moment soft reset by poking in the hole beside the usb (basically stopping it installing the customizations), and you should have a debranded touch dual
