here is the pdaviet thread on the pdaviet page, but you have to register to download. i used to get the roms mirrored on another ppc page thats no longer active, anyone registered with pdaviet that can mirror this rom to download?

stuck in boot after first softw reset . bug. Try hard reset but same problem :(

I was able to register, dont know how as I'm not able to read that language, I have a hard time wiht inglish now imagine that.

I installed this on my 8525, so far so good. Looks great.
My keyboard layout isn't setup correctly though, I believe it's supposed to be setup for the Cingular layout? But I don't remember (or can't find) where to change that setting, and I've been looking for about the last 20 mins.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

So far so good very responsive even Tflo and cube are fast.

haven't had the time to test al the details but let you know what my findings are.

if after flash rom not inizialize camera:


switch off phone and remove sim card
start phone and switch off again
insert sim card switch on and camera start

why i can not load this rom for my 8525 keep saying connect eror 209:confused:

I like it alot, the only problem that I'm having rigth now is that is a battery hungry, eats the batter like is no tomorrow, Half to battery power in a day!!!

Other than that its fast, the cube works really nice, and it looks nise.

oh yeah the key bord its not wide as the previos rom, will try to see if i can find a fix for key bord and the battery.

( does anyone knows of a program tho translate wile surfing??? )

I must say for me its a very stable rom!

A few minor findings:

1. 24hrs time display only works in HTC HOME and S2U2 but it shows 12hrs display in Clock and Alarmsettings and also in al the others screens.
2. The comm Managers keeps popping up without a reason.
3. Battery consumption is very high

But for the rest its a great rom!!!


ps. Can someone upload the Theme from the previous rom ROM v3.62.07.06. I really liked it.

Yes its terrible, Unplug from power at 7:30 am, was at work untill 5:20 pm, no service ware I Usually have (iside my desk at work, did not use phone ( no service) made I call when got out of work, gave me the warning to charge the bat, It drain all of the charge from overnite on standby in about 10 hours.

Not good.

Lorking for something better or maybe back to the At&t rom :mad:

I have radio 1.54.07.00, will update to .30.10 see if changes anithyng.

How to Know if battery is bad?

I turned the phone off last nigth and charged, unplug today and turn on at 9:30 will report back.

ok, first update only on Win Xp not on Win Vista
not use "ROMUpdateUtility.exe" but RUUWrapper.exe
i update in "boot mode" and not problem
