I can confirm that this does NOT work with my Sandisk 8gb in the 3125. Thanks for posting anyway...

Anyone know if this'll work on the MotoQ? (original CDMA Sprint, not Q9, etc)

has anyone tried this on a Vodafone VDA GPS (aka Toshiba Portege G710)?

2 Gigs are just not enough.

The attached driver just works fine for high capacity SD cards (SDHC) on the VDA GPS.
I run a 8 GB card in it.

Hi ;)

can someone tell me if there is no risk to use this file on a G710 ?
I'm not what we can call a specialist :o...The last time I used such a file , My Wm6 crashed ...my phone couldn't boot ...it was blocked on Toshiba logo...
luckily my phone was still under warranty

Thanks

pitzo123,
the VDA GPS is identical to the Toshiba G710 and YES, the driver 100% works fine. Try it out and enjoy.

The driver (from post #8) works on Toshiba G710.

But I see only 4GB of my 8GB card (Transcend microSDHC 8GB Class 6) :( (not only in SystemInfo, also in File-Explorer files are missing... :( )
Does anyone have a solution for this?

Try to reformat the card in the device...
Does it help?

You either have wrongly installed the SDHC driver or your card is broken.
Have you tried reading a different card?

I guess I now understood you problem correctly!

This is just a visual thing, because the application most likely cannot handle large SDHC cards! This does NOT mean, you cannot copy, move or access the card in any way. It works and you also can put data on the card, although the applications cannot properly show the disk usage.

Don't worry about that!
This is the same thing with quite any other device on the market, being developed about 2-3 years ago, which the G710 is.

I double-checked my System-Info and with me, it also only shows a 4 GB card (addressable of about 3.6 GB), which in return is used by 83%.
This is wrong information, because the card actually is a 8GB, just wrongly displayed. I filled the card until 12 MB was being left and - suprise, surprise - I can access it as 8 GB card with full content :)

So, as I said above: "Don't worry, be happy".

Tried installing the Kahuna SDHC Support Kit for windows mobile (HTC s620) and it disabled my wireless. Uninstalled it and wireless could be enabled again.

Any thoughts on this ?

Why haven't you installed the given proper SDHC driver from my linklist above, but a strange one? Try my link instead and it works wonderfully...
