dude, you gotta chill. it can be very frustrating in these forums but usually the answer is located in a post somewhere. i dont have the answer myself but i do know you can control media player.
take a deep breath and be prepared to read for hours because sometimes thats what it takes. the good news is that eventually you will either find the answer or somone will help. there are a lot of really great people on this site.
good luck, stay loose

I have not had any luck getting this to work, not to say its not possible, just didn't work for me.

I have the same problem, I've tried tweaking the .mp3 file format to default to HTC's Audio Manager, but no luck. When I tell Microsoft Voice Command to "Play Artist M.I.A." It always opens it in Windows Media Player.

Dude, I just got it to work. It opens up in WMP but it's better than nothing, right? Just say "Play Artist", then she'll name off a butt-load of things. When she's done, say which one you want to hear. Worked fine for me. Good luck. Make sure there's no background noise. That messes with me all the time.
