unfortunately my XDA2s lost his display light; when i turn my BA on, the display light works for 1/2 second, then the display is dark (can read it, but no light).
does anybody have an idea, what happened ?
regards, karl

1 hold down the power button for a bit to see if you just toggled the backlight off
2 check the backlight power off time in settings

thx, its a hardware problem, i tried everything !
light starts for a moment, but goes to 0 suddenly., if there is not enough current.
i´ve sent this device to a repair shop already; they told me , its a mainboard problem, costs about 200 €, but as i trust in you guys more and hoped to find some other solutions here...

try a new battery first.
it's the common source of hardware glitches.
my first glitch was the phone is always turning off.
that's because the battery cant support its power.
my 10c.

i guess you have new battery on the other one?
last culprit could be a lose connection/contacts on the LEDs.
