storage card help

hi all,
i have a problem with my memory card such tht whenevr i put in any files in tht after sumtime they disappear from there but my memory used is the same and i cant seem to find them anywhere. how can i resolve this problem. it is irritating me a lot. plz help

That's usually caused by the fat table corrupting. About the only thing you can do about that is to reformat the card and start over. Formatting the card in a card reader on your computer is usually the best option.

yea thts wat i didnt try..i formatted my card using my ppc only bt it didnt help....i jst hope this does.... thnx xeno

run a scandisk on your PC and it should find some files. There should be a folder called found.000. Search the web and you'll find some utilities that can search the contents of those files to see what they are if you need to find them. Or just delete that folder and you'll have ur space back.

hi...wel i tried formatting the card thru my PC...bt the darn thing is not recognised by my pc...as in if i try openin the card thru my pc...then i wait n wait n wait n there's no response...plz help

ur card is corrupted..and as far as i know..u will have to replace ur Card..but u can try MMCMEDIC..or other repairng softwares...
