View Full Version : English WM6
Hi there
Maybe this topic has already been opened, but I couldn't find this info no where.
I just got my Orange SPV 700 and I'm plaing to flash Windows Mobile 6.
I saw few topics in here, but Im afraid that they are not in english?
Can someone tell which WM6 in english to download?
I look forward to hear from you.
Thanks a lot

ROMs with WWE are English (World Wide English).
And DO use the search function!

Hi buddy.
Well, pretty much what you are going to find around here is WWE,search a little bit more and youŽll find your answers, the best rom is the one that works the best for you......depending on your needs,country,cell-company etc....etc....etc...So this is hard to explain.
I guess a 75% of the roms are WWE,so start taking a look and trying them out.
This is the first and best place to check it out:

Guys,
Thanks very much for taking your time and explaining this to me.
I'm not very familiar with acronyms and terminology that you use here (like - ROM - Extended ROM - Dumped or Modified ROM - Cooked ROM - Original Shipped ROM - WWE - Dump the ROM - CID - Radio - Bootloader ect) and that's why is hard for me to know what I'm looking for.
Anyways,
Now I know that I should look for WWE WM6 and flush my phone.
My only concern is to learn a little bit about ROMs
I just moved to Canada and apart from using SPV M700 as my phone I'm intending to use it as GPS Navigator aswell.
I hope I will not kill my phone ;-)
Thanks though for taking your time and answering my question
Kind regards,
A$h
