think ive bricked it....

i took the back off because i was having a few problems with power supply, not charging or syncing etc, only looked and never touched anything, put the back back on, and now i cant turn the damn thing babck on. ive tried a hard and soft reset and nothing, the screen stays blank. i cant believe i can ruin it just by taking the back off, if that was the case, the pc and most of my other stuff woulda been thrown outt ages ago!
anyone got any suggestions, thinking i may have to buy a new fone
