Unlocking HTC Touch Dual (Nike)

Anyone has found a way to unlock the HTC Touch Dual?
the Elf unlocking doesn't work on duals...

if you dont mind paying for it, www.imei-check.co.uk works and it does it by the phonies imei number,

i can confirm this works as its how i unlocked my orange one

If you can read the unlock codes, here is the imei-check rom dump. i tried it with hex editor but couldn't find anything :mad: :rolleyes:

i think we need because www.imei-check.co.ukuse this file to unlock our touch dual so if they manage to have the code which unlock the sim of our phone whith that file why can t we decrypte it ourself?

i used olipro's hardspl on my hermes and it was great not having to worry about bricking my phone :)

With that file that I attach in one of my last posts, I edit him with a HEX editor and transform it in a DWORD 8 characters codes. The problem is that are many many codes, but only some of them are only numbers (returns more ore less 9 or 10 codes). I don't know if one of them are "THE" code. The problem is that I already use two or three tentatives to unlock, but I don't know how many tries that we have.

If one of you want that I post the file modified let me know, please.

i have translated my file in hexa and i have a lot of code with 8 caracters to but nothing with just number (there are alwase letters in all of those code).

i don t think that one of those code is "the" code.

futhermore, in 32 bit there are 8 caractere but if i make it in 16bit there are a lot of code with 4 caracters or in 64 bit there are 16 caracters

Humm...

I think that unlock code could be 8 digits like in HTC Touch Normal.

It's strange you do not have numeric codes, because I've tried with xdaking file and he have some numeric codes too.

Can you post your imei hexadecimal file, after running the Imei-check program?

Do you know how many tries availables do we have to test the codes?

i think that imei chek have a program to calculate anything with all of thoses code.
and i think that there are some code without letters just because those code havn't number with A TO F in base 16

You can pay without Paypal with a credit card like any other site. They will require you to send some kind of proof of identity (anything really) and then they'll do it right away. I've done it without Paypal

well then you have 2 other options... if you bought your phone from your cell provider get the sim unlock code from them or go to a site like imei-check.com and pay for it.

yes the model number, but the htc internal codename (which is what we use to name the forums) is 'NIKE'. Otherwise the BA forums would be called PH20B/A etc.
