Launch date for US

Was in New York early last week and you could buy it from "local" phone shops? Price was similar to the EU despite the $ exchange rate. I've also seen some US based Ebay sellers offering the Dual for sale?

What I meant to ask was that when will it be launched officially like the HTC Touch (elf) was launched with various service providers ?
