kaiser/ htc tynii orange help plz

Being an idiot ive remove the cid and update my orange firmware to htc origernal the software is so much better then orange but being a idiot i only red a few thread before doing it now when i put my orange sim card into which worked before it says its sim locked enter code.
i only want to use it on orange so dont really need an full unlock.
any suggestions of how to resolve this problem.

ive also tried following instructions to reset it to the carriers defaults the flash was sucessful but still asks for sim lock code.
will unlocking the phone solve the problem?

mate just full unlock the whole handset and all your troubles will go away - why would you want to not unlock it????? suggest you read the threads surrounding sms / mms / gprs on Orange as you will need to load the various cab files. When you have done that you phone will be like new :-)

i have double checked the unlocking section and from what i read the the tool provided is not working to unlock the kaiser. i would appreciate a link or advise on what i need to use to unlock a new att tilt/kaiser? it would seem the tool is available, i just haven't found it.
