The free version is pretty good, the premium services includes flight schedules (which is huge for me) all in all a decent app (though the weather updates are not a big deal with HTC home available) thought I would post link to it

http://www.mobimate.com/ppc_business.shtml

includes:

World Clocks
Weather
Currency Convertors
Day/Night Map
Tip/Tax Calculator
Iteneary Tracker

The premium adds real time flight updates and some other nice stuff but the base app is pretty good all by itself

seems to be about 3mb of RAM when active the storage usage is about 7MB I have not tried out all the features though yet (I imagine live flight schedules is a memory hog)

Neat programs. Takes about 7.5MB to install. And you wont be able to see fight schedules and stuff unless you go Pro...

Hi

I downloaded the SW from Mobimate site and I installed it without any problem, but when I launched it for the first time, it asked for email and password. Whatever the email addresses I provide (correct emails accounts), I get a message "please enter a valid email address".
I uninstalled it on the device and on the laptop, I clean the registry (with sktools) and reinstall it. Always the same message "please enter a valid email address". (I didn't get any answer from Mobimate support)
Any idea?
Thank you

I just installed WorldMate from m.mobimate.com and I like the app...except every time my device (htc wizard wm5) is restarted, it attempts to load \Storage Card\Program Files\WorldMate\WMScheduler.exe and fails so I get an error message.

I'd happily uninstall this if anyone can recommend flight monitoring freeware that works.

I ended up uninstalling it, I didn't want a startup error every time I turned on my phone. I just wish there was some good freeware flight-tracking software (and not a website like FlightStats, I want an app)

I contacted Mobimate and they emailed me a solution:

You have to install the software to the device itself, and not the storage card.

That seemed to work.

I have the same issue raised by others earlier in this thread. I installed Worlmate. It caused major issues when roaming as it kept trying to dial-up when I ran TomTom. I uninstalled Worldmate and TomTom was fine again, except for the error - cannot load program files\Worldmate\WMScheduler.exe. Same error whenever I change my timezone. I really want to get rid of this. Anyone solved it? (Hard reset not an option!). I searched registry for the program, and nothing came up. I assume it must be hiding somewhere else? Several threads googled, but no-one seems to have cracked this.
