because of all users looking for the most stable and long battery life builds, so we found the most suitable build is 5.2.1620. so, if you like to get a rom like the official releases with all the useful and uneffectable apps just try this one for a day.

-i removed HTC Home because of the updated versions coming evey month, and because of schen great work to make the dll file reads from the program files instead of windows, so will work greater than before, i customized the cab to be fully suitable with the new TNT.SE.

-if you have any connection problem with the PC, please go to Start/settings/Connections> "USB to PC" and reactive it (remove the tick if you want to use WM5torage) .

-every app choosed according to the stability not for the newest version.

- this release contans rom and splashes only.

- if you want higher speed please ask for 6 mb page pool (many users want to get more prog. memory, so they like 4 mb p.p.)

- use 2.10 SPL (see wiki)

I just flashed it now with radio 154.30, I will report back with any problems. I will also report back in a few days about battery life compared to Schaps 4.22 Rom.

Its a battery status bar, very handy i think.

you can remove it by going to windows/startup and delete batterylevel.

You may want to cut and paste it someone as a backup incase you want to use it again.

i had some issues before with my car charger... i had to soft reset with the charger in the phone to make it charge... there are some topics here with this bug... BUT with this ROM it works perfect... like a charm.... :D... thanks

..impressive ROM, been playing with it for the past 4hrs or so.. no complaint as yet (only minor issues e.g 2 comm manager icon in setting etc.) ..have transformed the Official version to Kaiser like interface, no problem at this juncture... been running MobiTV, running IE with youtube (classic view), it is playable (albeit the usual hick-ups when streaming the same)..

HSDPA connection is good, ICS running without any glitches (currently running vide USB whilst typing this reply), Voice connection is good (running radio 1.47.00.10 on UMTS 2100 band/Celcom Malaysia)..

my only worries as usual is battery life.. @Its Right, in this ROM, when checking the registry, did noticed that no tweakings done with regard to power consumption (i.e the usual power saving registry hack as in the wiki).. would u recommend the same to be done bro?

anyway, good job overall.. will give this baby a test run some more.. Eid Mubarak to u bro & all in this forum :)

you can go to settings and regional setting and then change the location to USA english from Australia English, that should fix it

After installing Cyberon voice dial I am not being able to voice dial by pressing the headset button, it used to work with previous versions of TNT. Whenever I am pressing the button i can hear the headset connecting to phone but it won't start the voice dial app.

Any thoughts on what I should change? Any registry changes?

go to patr!k thread on the Add Ons section, then download HTC Task Manager the latest build :rolleyes:.

i didn't add that because of many of task manager available for users, anything already built on the rom needs a new rom to remove or update, so i kept it free for users to add or remove whatever they want ;)

I'm just now flashing to this rom, but I've had the same issue in multiple other roms. I think it has to do with setting your ie temp to storagecard and/or your email storage to the card. When you remove the card, those will create a folder in the device memory called storage card. When you add the card back in, it will become 'Storage Card2'. The only way around this that i've found is to remove the card, delete the 'storage card' folder, and reinsert the card.

After installing Cyberon voice dial I am not being able to voice dial by pressing the headset button, it used to work with previous versions of TNT. Whenever I am pressing the button i can hear the headset connecting to phone but it won't start the voice dial app.

Any thoughts on what I should change? Any registry changes?

It is a shame that people don't read, it really is. Don't let it deter you from putting out more ROMS though :).

I had lost about 10% from 6pm EST to 11.30pm EST. I wasn't using the phone, just emails coming in.

I will keep monitoring battery life and updating. However it seems to hold its charge well.

Overall, I am VERY impressed with this ROM. Bug free (so far ;) ) and stable.

The big test is if I go more than 30 days with the same ROM, I'll let you know the second I actually have to register for Opera!

You can tap on the v-mail icon...only, when you click on notification and dismiss the v-mail notification then you cannot tap the v-mail icon.

try it...soft reset and just let the initial v-mail notification dissapear without pressing anything. you should then be able to tap the icon unless there's something wrong w/ ur screen...

p.s. this will not work unless you have new voicemail in ur inbox :D

Hi! First, really great rom! Maybe I found a little bug in the htc action screen, if I select "New Email", it starts a new mms, but if I select "New MMS", nothing happens...

Got one highly irritating problem with TomTom though. The first start after a fresh install of TomTom works fine, but the second time it reports: "Unable to start. An error occurred accessing a file." I tracked it down to navigator.cfg. When I delete it TomTom will start like fresh installed and it works, but I have to configure it every time.
Anyone else having this or knows an acceptable solution?

Oh I forgot to mention the clean 3G icon doesn't change to the connected state when connected with gprs. With an active sync connection it changes like it should? Reinstallation of the icon didn't help.

If ever I install MMS lite (Only way to have MMS working properly in Japan. And here we NEED MMS: SMS do not work between different network operators) then I just can open yhe mesage center. If I click on "Messaging" then nothing happens...

If I install MMSLite before installing any other email account... it works
As soona s I install my push email account... they seem to both conflict. And if I launch the messenging application, my phone just freezes :(

how come the rom doesnt support mp3's for message tones? i remember previous roms used to but the past 3 i tried (2 of schapp's roms and now this one) don't support .mp3's for text message tones :(

oh well, i guess i'll convert them to wav for now.

Stupid me.. had them in the wrong folder, moved them to Storage Card/My Documents/ and i can use .mp3's as message tones :D

I've searched this thread & others to find a workaround for my inop button 5, (mic button).

I have tried Sleuth's PTTfix cab, but no go. It lists it in the rom & I can assign a function to it, but when pressed it does diddly. Can anyone just confirm their's is working as maybe a re-install will sort it.

Apart from that, top notch ROM, does everything I want it to.

ok solved the TT issue. Apperently my SD-Card was corrupted. Unsure whether it was caused by the PIE cache on the SD. I`ve had simular issues before with the cache on SD. Moved it to main storage anyway.

Any updates on the connection icon?

BTW I got the issue with the camera app. asking where to store the data everytime too. Annoying.

Seems like we need a small bug fix or two.

But still thumbs up.

Hi, if you got to programs and pictures and videos and bring the picture you want to put as background in the list then you can click on it and choose set as background and you will see the option for transparency

Have found this too. As soon as I insert an apostrophe msg length is reduced from 160 to 70 characters. Can still get apostrophe through character map...or just dont use em. Can this key be easily remapped?

the rom doesnt change the radio. its just the radio driver that's updated.

I got one unlocked for Tmobile and its great. It runs soooooo smooth, no lag, apps beyond belief, great camera, texting is great, its not bulky!!, internet is amazing, photos are fun to go through, I could just go on and on lol :)

if you want to get full test, please add the registries i added, if you want them just use the cab file (please don't use it if you are not professional user, and manually you can remove the cab, and also don't forget that there is a relation between the battery life and the device performance, increasing battery life decreasing the performance little bit)

I flashed ur OFFICAL Rom today. So far great experience. Iam not interested in HTC Home as Iam no freak for losing my 75% of screen for silly info. Every application installed thereafter has worked without any issues. But after installing AUDIO BOOSTER nothing great happens to sound. Can U make work Audio Booster in UR Roms ? Battery life after full charging is JUST 10% less after 7hrs of nonstop use.Overall much better than Schaps who is concerntrating only on features but not on stability.

make sure they are both on media net. the connection on the bottom has a tendency of being on 'work network' or something like that. if you had to change one of the networks to media net soft reset and give it a few minutes to see if it d/l's. i'm pretty sure that even using isp settings ur device should switch automatically when there is an mms msg, but that never seems to happen. hope this helps<

I have had a similar experience with quite a few of the cooked ROMs. Not 100% confirmed yet but it seems that it occurs when someone calls me using a VOIP service provider. In some instances, the phone would ring sporadically (same call). First I will see "Unknown" caller, then the number of the VOIP gateway and finally the number of the person calling. If I don't answer, I end up with 3 - 4 missed calls from that single call. Have only been made aware of this recently and have not had much time to dig further but it does not seem to happen with the official AT&T Rom. I am using that Rom now to compare. Will let you know...

1. yes, directpush & 3g will burn some energy...try it with gsm for a while to see if any improvements (I use gsm, same radio & have no battery issues).

I have tried most al the roms and the Official AT&T has been very good for me with battery life, speed and direct push with windows live. Battery will drain with 2 hoursof calls, 20 push mail comming and sending 5 sms daily and after 12 hours, Down to 60%

I don't have this ROM but did notice on a few that I flashed that the battery drained very quickly, I thought this would be down to the Radio so flashed several different ones to see which gave best signal here in the UK and which gave the best battery, they were all much the same, as the post below yours states the battery is hammered by direct push and the Radio jumping between GSM, 3G and HSDPA, I've set mine to GSM only, I only use 3G if I need to use Google Maps or Look at something on the interweb.

Battery is ok now on general monitor e.g. receive/send emails, obviously its used up pretty quickly if you make a call...

I wanna forward this question to "its right" the TNT.SE ROM's cooker

my question is regarding a very annoying bug in this ROM, and I hope every one try it and notice what I have noticed:

when press X button on any program, it is supposed to be closed. While in this ROM it is not and still in {running programs}

the second bothering point is:
when u press X button to close "contacts", it is still running as per the above notice ...... but if u close it from the running programs.... and then try to open it again (i mean to open CONTACTS) then the hermes stocked & freezign down !!!!! ...... I have tried this many times .... hard reset many times ...... NOTHING IN DEVELOP !!!

So, I think with this bug that it is a very bad ROM "from my point of view"
because beside the Hermes being a tool with windows O.S ..... we can bear the trouble of softwares problems and the incompatibility of some app with WM6 or any other version .... but to face a problem in using this set as phone is some thing that all of us can not bear !!!!

belive me, I have lost many important calls from this annoying bug of "contact improper close" .....

so, we appreciated your attempt of cooking the ROM that you are proud of .... but we will be extremely appreciated to find solutions for all bugs we are annoyed off !!!

1- what selection of SPL Bootloader do I have to choose?
mine is: SPL.2.10.Olipro .... so do I have to choose the fourth selection?
which is SPL-2.02/2.10/2.30 New Bootloader
or do I have to make "Autodetect" ..... which one is better?

2- my second question is that my Radio: 1.50.00.00
and it was noticed that the Radio in the new TNT version is 1.43
so how can I keep this 1.50.00.00?? actually it is stable than 1.43 at my country GSM operator

strange that your radio changed when u flashed this rom, never heard of it. Yes you can flash 1.50 back, and really any radio should work with this rom. All radio versions are in the WIKI.

I'm very happy with this Rom but two issues I have.
Firstly the voice recorder, while nice no longer records both sides of the conversation like the original voice recorder did. I also set the original recorder to button 5 held so it record for the duration the button is pressed but this one cant seem to be set up to do that. How do I replace it as I use resco Audio recorder for serious recording?

2: using SPB pocket Plus4 and liking the page panning feature for IE the panning is rather slow while viewing pages and this is not only due to the page loading.

What can I do to rectify these? otherwise I'm very happy with this so far

I have to say this is a very stable rom. TNT you are back. i enjoyed your TNT 2.0 but i moved away to vp3G and currently to K's ROM. But b/c of issues w/ program incompatibilities i switched to TNT and this ROM is very stable and nice.

Except for the issue mentioned above.

i have not checked the Google navigator with other ROM's so i can't say if it a soft problem. But the message that pop's up pertains to ROM issue.

So please help me if you can.

it seems (i may be mistaken) that this Rom suffers more than others from touch screen slowdown. I noticed it particularly with street duel. is there a setting that I have to change? am I mistaken or is it an inherent issue with this Rom?

Abu Faisal, i have installed the Arabic you used in you previouse version, now sometimes i face a problem, when i receive an incoming call. the name doest appeart all ( i just get a white empty box), it is not unknown or private number, but from numbers i know, i only faced this in all TNT edition, i think it has to do with Imaginet, what do you think!

i suggest to reflash your device and test, because you are the first one facing this strange thing.

storage= ram, which is for running the programs.

i can make it better in decreasing but this will effect on stability and performance, make sure this is the best at least for this build.

my coming release will be built on WM6.1 with real porting which will give more performance compared with some other WM6.1 roms. :)

this is the first time that i use wm6, with tnt.se. I try to put in the softkey this feature of pocket plus, with different apps that change the softkey, but i don't discover a solution.

I posted about the MMS a couple months ago, I am still having issues. I called Cingular to make sure its nothing on there end, I of course did not tell them I had a custom ROM or they would just say its the ROM.

But after speaking with three people from Cingular, they do not know why my phone is not receiving or sending MMS.

I can get the MMS and click to download the message, but it stays at 0% and won't download.

Is anyone having an issue like this, or anyone know how to solve this issue? This is getting annoying that I tell my friends and co workers to email me pictures instead of sending it through there phone because I cannot receive any through MMS.

Any help please!!

Yea there is some many thing wrong with this rom for the 8525. I used the TNT for my 8125 had some problems but not as many as i do with this one. Also it del all my stuff i had on my mem stick.

Dont get if you have 8525

Ok, I have a solution, i put it here for all the people that use the seach button.
A user of another forum write:
For all bros installing SPB PocketPlus 4.0.1 on your TyTN II, I don't know what is the cause, but all the "actions" shortcuts (i.e. those .lnk files enclosed by []; e.g. [CLOSE].lnk) are missing after the installation process.

Don't know conflict with what software I have....

But the good news is, you can copy those shortcuts from another install and reuse them.

So far [CLOSE].lnk, [CLOSE BUTTON CONTEXT MENU].lnk and [SWITCH PROGRAM].lnk works for me.

Of course, the installation location (i.e. Device or Storage) of PocketPlus of the previous device and the TyTN II must be the same.

But it's incorrect. There isn't any conflict. Simply the new relase of pp don't have the lnk for the context menu. From the official site:

Button Mapper

One can add any action or program start to a long hold of the hardware buttons. The file shortcuts for the Spb Pocket Plus actions has been removed from the Programs menu of the device to reduce program size, but they still stay in the Buttons applet.

So the solution is:
install a previus version of pp, like the 3.1.2.
copy the shortcuts in Start Menù/Programs (obliviusy only the sc that realy you use)
install the new version
past in the same directory the shortcuts

The previus version and the new must br installed in the same storage.

Now you can put in the softkey the lnk of pocketplus, like the fantastic [CLOSE BUTTON CONTEXT MENU].lnk

i did flash it again, and as i told you flashed all your roms and faced the same issue, can you tell me if i can use any other verson of imaginet or any other Arabizer? i will not change this Rom, but i need the Fix abu Faisal, thank you
