Yes, of course it'll tell you that the Model IDs don't match.

What you need to flash your P3300 with a different language ROM:

1) a program called USPL. See this topic:

2) both German and Portuguese software. Download them from that HTC US site

3) WinRar (or similar) program (freeware).

4) WinHex editor (shareware). But if you'll search with Google, you'll find the program and the registration code;)

Then check this topic:

So you have to open the files mentioned in the topic above. First open the German file and write down the lines which indicate the phone model and the country code.

Then open the Portuguese file and search for the differencies in phone model and country code. I presume that there won't be any differencies between phone models but you'll have to modify the country code line of the file. Copy the German country code digits to Portuguese file and save it without renaming it.

Then flash USPL to your phone and after that flash the modified Portuguese ROM to your phone. Now the phone is not complaining about the Model ID and finally you'll have a P3300 with the Portuguese ROM.
