Hi guys,
I am looking to add the touch flo cube on to my friend HTC TyTn II for him.
I understand that his one came unlocked and he likes his current firmwire that came with it with his operator settings.
Therefore, i am wondering if it is possible to add the Touch Flo gesture and cube without having to do hardspl or any other steps require to add software to the phone.
Is it possible just to add the 2 cab's for these two peices of software and install them on to the phone via the memory card?
Advice would be appriciated massively as i really do not want to mess his phone up.
Thanks in advance
Jason

You have 200+ posts, 6 phones, been around for 9 months and you're still asking questions that we'd expect from a 10 post n00b?
Go search for your answer... Someone should remove your senior status :P
Oh, while you're at it, listen to http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/posting... I've done some additional research only to discover that you have 29 selfishly written threads begging for answers when I'm sure you could have just asked on an existing thread or searched for...

hi there, thats for your reply.
i dont have 6 phones, i have 1. I'm trying to help my friends which are new to the scene as well.
i do ask question, and through your research, i answer questions that you may consider "noobish" for people who just joined as well.
not everyone has strong computer literacy you. I appricate your help, but if your just going to flame someone next time, i would rather you turn a blind eye to my questions.
thanks again for your help.

what i want wondering is if it is possible to add "TFloCube" and "FTouchFlo Configurator" on to the TyTnII via .cab and if there is a need to use hardspl.
this is what i would like to add

i understand that an option is to flash a new rom, but since his current ROM has operator features on it, its rather difficult to go down that path.
therefore, are there .cab's to add TFloCube?

The only helpful reply you've had in the last 50 posts is when you told a guy to go search and read the wiki. It's advice you should follow yourself.

You are in serious need of flaming as you've got to be the biggest repeat offender I've ever seen on this forum.
Your only saving grace is that you seem to have good manners by always saying your 'please' and 'thank you'...

i have been helping people when they PM me as well. I have also been email people with .cab's.
what is your problem? i obviously need help thats why i post. I still havent found the .cab's which i need. arent forums a place you go to, to find help? As i said, not every one has strong computer literacy like you, why dont you give people a break?
i'll take it that your having a bad day mate. why not we just stop it here before it get immature.
if someone could people tell me what i want to do is possible ( add touch flo cube via .cab's without the need of flashing a new rom) i would appriciate it very much.
thanks, jason

Alex, i did not know this exsisted, i was thinking that i needed cabs exacted from rom's that are currently avalible and it is the synergy in a forum where better applications can be found though knowledge of others.

So this means you'll update the wiki with the link and the images you've posted, so you can continue contributing to benefit everyone?

hardy har har bruv. Fact of the matter this place is full of idiots that are alot more rude and obnoxious because they are behind a screen. If they spoke to everyone offline like they do on, they would be walking around with black eyes.
Ive never understood why a grown adult would speak to someone online without the same manners and respect they would offline.
We all encounter people less techincial than us. Some many even be actually stupid. Thats no reason to talk down to them like they are a piece of dirt.
regardless of the fact they may ask annoying questions, you should feel honored someone wants to try your creation on their device. It should be very satisfying to know someone is getting real benefit from something you did, and trusted you enough to risk breaking their expensive gadget.
In any case, meh. Im slowly learning what I need to learn to flash my device, without asking many questions. I may even cook my own rom eventually. I respect the fact that there are many gueniwine and lovely people on this forum who get annoyed but that doesnt hide the fact that some are just total dicks.
My motto is never say anything to someone online that you wouldn't be brave enough to say to their face.

Same as my motto, but you still see what I've been saying. Just do a search of my posts.
I think someone should ban you and kick you out. If you're not happy with how XDA is being, just get out of here.
Why you need to learn more is here (since you're not reading my signature links)
By Kyphur,
I think what a lot of people forget is that this is not a "make my phone neat & kewl" place.
As implied by the name this is technically a Developers forum/community.
Now what does that mean? Well first off it means that there is an expectation that if you are here then you want to customize your device but rather than just installing something that someone packaged you want to understand how it works and maybe even enhance it yourself.
When I first came here with a Blue Angel it was a different environment. PDA Phones were not embraced by the general public because of the expense and complexity (I paid over $400 for my BA). A $400 phone 4 years ago was expensive, today the Tilt is $300 after rebates but with inflation & the rise in the cost of other devices and the fact that there are other sources out there giving them away for $150 our neat bit of kit has become popular with mainstream users.
Now we have a flood of new users who are asking not "How can I do this myself" but more like "Give me the quick fix" without caring to understand the process. See if you read the threads then you get to experience the learning process, you see how the issues were investigated and confirmed. Then you get to watch the different attempts at resolution and learn why some failed while others worked. That is called Development.
The NooB backlash is coming from users who have walked in the development shoes and is directed mainly at those who don't care for the journey but just want the end result or destination.
As a Development Forum we are just as much (if not more) about the journey. I've read so many comments like "I don't have time to read all of the threads" or "I don't care how it works, just that it does". These very statements are contrary to the heart & soul of XDA-Devs and that is why the backlash is so strong.
Let me be very clear on this: IF YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT UNDERSTANDING THE JOURNEY THEN YOU PROBABLY SHOULDN'T BE HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE.
XDA-Devs is about developers & hackers helping each other and working together to get the most out of our devices by understanding them better than most.
XDA-Devs is not about helping everyone who wants a "Kewl bit of kit" make their phone better than the guy next to him.
Now do we go kicking users off who never contribute anything, NO. We tolerate it to an extent. Where the toleration ends is when these users start diluting the usefulness of the forum by repeating the same questions over and over again.
You ask us to understand your position. Well if you want to benefit from our experience and time then I think it is only fair that you understand our position.
