Trinity & Dopod810 Wm6 Rom

hi there, first off i know there are tons of posts on here regarding upgrading to the dopod wm6 rom. My problem is i keep getting the ERROR [262] message when it gets to around 28% during the upgrade.

i'm a noobie at this and i like to think i've got the necessary apps i need, like the hard spl 1.30, the dopod 810 official rom followed the instructions but keep getting the same message. i'd appreciate any help or references. thx

Search the forum and the wiki and try to locate the Dopod Rom version without IPL/SPL.

Then, the flashing should be no problem.

It worked for me.

thx riri22 for the response. could u post the link to where you downloaded urs if you still got it. i've bookmarked like 20 pages since ur last post including the wiki page. nothing specific.

i got the ax3l rom at the moment. its brilliant only problem is the ringtone bit which only allows nasty "ring-standard". that wasnt the case before as i could select ones in the mem card to use. so i figured it may have "developed a bug??" hence my search for the official dopod 810 rom which aint installing!!
