I've decide to start this thread for referencing defects found on MARY 3.5.x.
I've just updated to the 3.5.2 L version.
I will update my defects to reflect the changes..
This bugs are originally found on 3.5.0 L, i've marked the solved one:
PIE dont support wap wml pages (Solved on 3.5.2):
- PIE hang and continously try to access to the page;
- It's not possible to stop PIE;
- It's necessary to kill it thru a taskmanager;
- try this wap site to reproduce the problem: http://wap.ugc.fr or http://mini.opera.com
- the dlls seem to not be present;
- the missing dll seem to be wmlview.dll.
Emerstec JMM dont interact with .jad .jar files: (still bugged on 3.5.2)
- i not check but it seem to be because of dll lacks;
- it's also "due" to registry entries misses .
- Check the file EmerstecJbed.inf located on \windows directorie , it's seem to contain the necessary informations. Its certainly coming from someone "de français". Il contient des références et des raccourcis écrit dans la langue de molière.
PIE and Arcsoft MMS dont present Uaprof and User agent for the P3600:(Not yet checked)
- It's will be good if the registry can be updated.

[MAJOR]Mails and SMSs are stocked directly to the "Storage Card":
check to registry key:
HKLM\System\Inbox\Settings\PropertyPath
It's setted to "\Storage Card\Mail"
It's really dangerous ... I already loose mails after less than two hours of use ..!!
SMSs are also stocked to this folder...
It's dangerous to use wm5torage or card export ...
It's also dangerous to remove the mini SD card unless to turn off the device..
pBar is really weerd (Solved, replaced by HTC Task Manager):
It's not possible to click on "OK" buttons.
We have to use the hardware "OK" button to confirm actions.
HSDPA Status Icon:
The following registry entries are missing for differencing 3G and HSDPA Mode:
- HKLM\Software\OEM\RIL\EnableHSDPAIcon set value to 1 (DWORD)
- HKLM\Software\OEM\RIL\DisH set value to 0 (DWORD)
Edge Status Icon:
The following registry entries are missing for differencing GPRS and EDGE Mode:
- HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL\DifferGprsEdgeIcon set value to 1 (DWORD)
OMA DRM device and OMA DM:(Parlty Solved, still cannot unlock DRM received files , I'm investigating for finding why )
the ls oma drm and oma dm fonctions seem to be corrupt...
the lsomacore.dll , referenced as driver for drm:1 is missing.
The lockstream package ist partially included.
This files seem to be necessary:
- lsomaclient.dll
- lsomacore.dll
- lsfilter.dll
- smstrigger.exe
- omadmclient.exe
The bluetooth stack seem also to be broked:
- Previously paired device still have "access" to the device even if they have be deleted from the "known" device;
- It's also not possible to create a incoming COM port(Still present on 3.5.2);
- this defect is also present in the 3.4.x release....
- This defect is still present in 3.5.2;
- I also have a new defect ... the device name was used on 3.5.0 for setting the "Bluetooth Name". On the 3.5.2, it's the Owner Name who is used..
- I still investigating for finding why...
TouchFlo exclusion list:(Solved)
- Some applications have to be added to the exclusion list.
The emerstec JVM executable is jbed.exe on the MARY release.
The setted executable is "jmm.exe"
The next bugs and questions are issued from the 3.5.2 version:
- [MAJOR] ActiveSyncing with PC is bugged. It's not possible to do it if the "USB Advanced Feature is disabled" in the Parameter -> Connections -> USB etc... page.
- PIE in now IEMobile 7.6 , 3.5.0 have 7.7 version.
- PIE now save temporary , cookie, history files to \windows\profile\guest. The 3.5.0 ( and 3.4.2 ) version save them to \Storage Card\cacheie.
- HTC Random Access is not present on this release.
- HTC Streaming Player is not present on this release.
- Pocket RAR is not present on this release.
- Info GPS is not present on this release.
- HTC Sim Manager is not present on this release.
- Live Messenger is present on this release.
- OneNote Mobile is present on this release.
- I also noticed a change on the base rom ... 3.5.0 use 0.7 3.5.2 use 0.4.4.
- Mails and MMS Notifications are disabled by default.
I'm currently working on a patch to install avec a 3.5.0 L.
It will "correct" the defects ... Only the defects...
I'm , personaly , satisfied by the 3.5.0 L .
I only need to correct the biggest bug concerning PIE.
I've just updated to the 3.5.2 L version.
