Yeah, I think it might be the calendar app that is mapped into the softkey changer is wrong or something. It wants to go to HTC Calendar and that messes things up at least on the TILT.

Yup, it's mapped wrong. You could try to mod registry stated in this post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1766009#post1766009).

Great Job Dutty, but my MobiTV doesn't seem to be working. It just says the disclaimer and stop there and after I press done at the disclaimer it just stay on that screen. Please advice

ok, I have a question, I was playing with quick menu's options part (quick menu was included in the v1.1 rom).

And after I clicked on the box of showing the battery (with the quick menu's option), then I lost the little right top corner options (the one that does a drop down and then since then, it never showed up.... :(

So, any way to get it back?

Also, what other Dutty's rom that will work well with voice command announcing?

Try a soft reset. I'm using Quick Menu with the battery meter showing both analog and %, my drop down box is there and still working fine.

You won't be able to change what the soft keys do without Advanced Config. The soft key changer that is cooked into the rom doesn't work if you try to set the buttons back to the default Calendar and Contacts. Other than that, I think it is safe to not use AC... anyone with me on this one?
I'm using AC without any problem. The only problem with the soft key changer is that it is mapped to HTC contacts instead of windows contacts which requires a reg change. See earlier in this thread, around page 32 or 33 I think.

I am brand new to this software, but I will give it a shot. I will say, I have not set anything up and I had my Motorola H12 bluetooth on and connected and when my wife called from her work, it said "incoming call from "her name" work on your mobile" at which time I answered. I don't know what it is supposed to say or do as I have not set anything up.:o

This is a crazy rom! Works so fast and stable! Ive flashed many roms before on my 8525 (mostly schaps roms) before getting the tilt aka. 8925, kaiser etc. This is the first rom ive flashed for the tilt and i dont see any reason to flash again. Super fast and stable and all the apps i need. Thanks Dutty, keep it up. By the way, love the black theme, hope these black themes start coming back again. has anyone successfully made MS VoiceCommand v1.6 work to announce call with the fix? I've tried it 5 times already and just not working, I think after I've instealld advance configurator it just giving me a lot of griefs. :(

In my case this was the USER ERROR. I neglected to enable the option under the options menu associated with calls. after enabling the option it worked fine. Sorry, to raise a red flag unnecessarily.

Hey Tater, those works, BUT when someone calls you, it supposed to tell you who is calling, also, when the calendar appointment reminder pops up (the 15 mins reminder) it will tell you that you have such and such appointment in 15 mins... those doesn't work.

But it can do the dialing, press and ask questions fine.

Try this my friend. Do a fresh install of the ROM...then when the screen comes up "Tap Screen to Set up device" perform a hard reset by holding down the left and right soft key's and pressing the reset button with the sylus. Follow the onscreen instructions and then you should be good to go. See if this fixes your problem.

This doesn't have AT&T Bloat on it...just Dutty's Awesome Apps.

This should fix your problem. Start > Settings > Buttons > Backlight >

Uncheck the box that says Enable keyboard backlight auto sensor.

Hello,

I flashed my tilt with DualTouch today, good work :-). However I cannot get my blackberry connect to work. I followed the instructions to change th registry setting. Then i downloaded bbconnect.cab from htc's site, everything installed fine. I then when to get my email setup but the button was grayed out. So I followed the recommendations of HTC, and pressed suspend and resume to try and get it to reconnect, but that failed. When I press resume, it attempts to make a new connection, you can see the icon at the top going back and forth. It successfully makes the connect, and says connection available in the blackberry app, and then data tunnel available. It even says Blackberry Edge in the connection. Then instantly it disconnects, you see the icon change back to the default bars with no E. This prevents me from pressing email setup, as the HTC directions specify.

Any help would be appreciated. THANKS!

(and yes I do have the blackberry connect plan, and it worked fine before flashing :-(.) Make sure in the registry change to AKU there is a period "." in the first position. So it should be ".0.4.2". If that is not the case you need change it, then uninstall and re-install bbconnect. Also I am assuming that you downloaded from the HTC America site for the tilt, because that version is tied to AKU .0.4.2 any newer version in the forums are tied to a different AKU.

As far as I know, at the moment the latest Blackberry connect is the 4.0.0.91 and you can get it here (http://sems.org/content/download/bbc4/BBConnect_WM6_Professional_BB_4.0.0.91.cab).

Before install follow the instructions from dutty (goto hklm>system>versions and change the key “Aku” from what ever is there to “.0.4.2” or “.0.7.0” I try with both and it works, I make a reboot to the device after change the registry).

After this the installation should run fine and you should be able to connect after the installation.

Enabled dpad scroll in kaisertweak? Disable and it should work.

I ran into that prob with dutty's Hybrid, it was the radio version, because i lost my camera.. So now i am using dutty's dualtouch v1.1 and its all good now!
Check your radio version.. down below is that seems to work well and better reception..

I flashed Dual Touch 1.1 right after you posted and I had several serious problems which seem to be unique to me. However I still wanted to post and ask if others encountered these issues too. I reverted back to 7b and things have turned normal:(

Ok, the first issue I had was the new dialler and s2u2 don't seem to work nicely. When I receive a call and the Full Screen caller ID in S2U2 shows the caller, I cannot pick up the call at all. Clicking on the answer button pretty much silences the phone and I have to let the call be missed.

Second, my phone does not start ringing or show that there is a call coming through after 2-4 rings the other party keeps thinking my phone is ringing. Therefore, when the phone notifies me that there is a call coming through, it is already too late, and the person goes to voicemail. Maybe this is my radio issue and I have 1.27.12.11 which worked fine with other versions.

Third, 1.1 ROM eats my battery many times faster than 7b. Is it something to do with my device?

Unfortunately, I did follow the instructions, verbatim but I was plagued by some of these petty problems after each flash (twice). The first time I reverted to 7b the second time I actually found work arounds for most of the petty issues I experienced. In the case of the dialer issue, I disabled the fancy video dialer and no longer have issues with S2U2 confilcting with the top bar. I have no idea why World Card Mobile does not like this ROM, but it will not work. The program launches/loads fine but the program will not activate the camera when called. I like 1.1 but I think 7b may have been just slightly more ready for universal prime time.

Thanks to Dutty and this super fast ROM; I have been trying the faster Mbps speed of the tilt, and noticed that the phone no longer recharges while d/l although it used to before;

Actually, it looks like it is the new Dialler. When I installed the CAB of the new Dialler on 7B, the same issues with S2U2 resurfaced... uninstalled it, life is good again.

Use Kaiser Tweak to disable video dialer. This will default you to the standard dialer. It works a treat for me, at any rate.

its hard to go through the whole thread, but i did try to search for it.

I downloaded the 1.1 zip, unzipped it, opened up the .exe and clicked the wizard, but when it was updating it gave me an "error [242]" and it went into the recovery window.

I'm still using Dutty's version 7 and haven't had any major problems other than the fact I can't access Planet Three (a centralised area for accessing different content). When I enter in the address, I get an error saying "The page cannot be found. Check the name and try again". At first I though it was because I had to change the user agent string back to the default one, but that has not solved the problem. If I try to connect over wifi, I get an error 404 Access denied error (I think) - I'm at work and can't test that at the moment.

I'm thinking that the Three servers use something else to authenticate connections, but I have no idea what. I'm on the Australian Three network, but I imagine that anyone on any three network would have similiar problems. I called Three and they just told me to flash back to the default firmware (which I have no intention of doing).

Please if anyone knows how to get around this I would be eternally greatful!!!!

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has had problems running Shapeservices' IM+ (http://www.shapeservices.com/en/products/details.php?product=im&platform=pocketpc) application on Dutty's DualTouch v1.1 ROM.

Some background:
For those who do not know, according to their website, IM+ is an all-in-one messanging program for AIM®/iChat, MSN®/Windows Live™ Messenger, Yahoo!®, ICQ®, Jabber®, Google Talk™ and MySpace® IM.

I have not tried the application on the original AT&T Tilt ROM, and cannot remember if I tried it on any of Dutty's earlier ROMS. A quick scan of AT&T's Tilt forum shows that some people use it on theirs, so I am assuming it works correctly on the original ROM. It also runs correctly on my AT&T 8525 with vp3G's Hermes_WM6_WWE_vp3G_v3.0.0_ATT ROM.

The Problem:
The specific problem I am experiencing is related to the chat box. The bottom section does not seem to display. This is the section where text can be entered. The buttons for "Send", "Smiley", "Roster", and "Close" below the text entry box is also not being displayed. Moreover, the program does not display received messages. It is almost like the program has locked up, except for the fact that I can still access the menus.

The Hope:
I am hoping someone has come across this issue on Dutty's DualTouch v1.1 ROM and has a fix. Otherwise, I am looking for suggestions of alternative applications that allow me to communicate using the popular IM protocols. Thanks!

Well I read 27 pages of this topic, twice over, because i am so tired and thought i might have misssed it.. but i answered most of my own questions.

But I have 2 questions for now

Where is this "advc config" ? I need to reset those two soft keys. They are now back to Calendar and Contacts but I want to put them back to ActionScreen and EndKey..

Right now when I hit the "Launch Music Player" from the today plugin (the music note icon) it loads up WMP, i want it to load up the audio manager..

Microsoft Voice Command is not a free program. You must buy it to use it. But you can also check this post for more info. Its prefered that you install it to the main memmory.

I have the new Hard SPL installed and when I try to install the Dutty 1.1 it's reseting my device and show likes it going to update and it just sits there at 0%. After that it says stuff about recovery and I do all that, and get everything back to normal again. Last I try the update agian and stuff get the same thing over and over.

Has NE1 ran into this problem at all?

Quick Silver, did that too, it's just not working well, somehow it's also interfering with my other stuff, so I just opted not to use it..

its hard to go through the whole thread, but i did try to search for it.

I downloaded the 1.1 zip, unzipped it, opened up the .exe and clicked the wizard, but when it was updating it gave me an "error [242]" and it went into the recovery window.

I'm still using Dutty's version 7 and haven't had any major problems other than the fact I can't access Planet Three (a centralised area for accessing different content). When I enter in the address, I get an error saying "The page cannot be found. Check the name and try again". At first I though it was because I had to change the user agent string back to the default one, but that has not solved the problem. If I try to connect over wifi, I get an error 404 Access denied error (I think) - I'm at work and can't test that at the moment.

I'm thinking that the Three servers use something else to authenticate connections, but I have no idea what. I'm on the Australian Three network, but I imagine that anyone on any three network would have similiar problems. I called Three and they just told me to flash back to the default firmware (which I have no intention of doing).

Please if anyone knows how to get around this I would be eternally greatful!!!!

Havn't set up WiFi yet or myphone really, so hopefully all is still smooth when i do!

1 more thing, is it possible to get the original tytn II home screen on here? It's just slightly different esthetically (home,music,profiles,weather,favorite people, app launcher are sitting on a black bar in my TYTN II version)

Yes, this is really smooth!!

Only 2 minor issues mentioned already:
a) The xT9... (have disabled it and am using TouchPal instead)
b) WorldCard Mobile cannot start the camera...

Can live with a); you sometimes cannot have it all at the same time.
Hoping for a fix for b) though. That's an application that saves a LOT of typing.

I have been playing around with S2U2 .95 and .96. For me there is some bugs with .96. Also in .96 directdraw is still enabled by default when I installed it on my Tilt. I think .95 works better for me. I don't know what other users are experiencing on there tilt/kaiser/tytn II however. If you do include the newest S2U2, I don't know if you can do it, but make directdraw disabled by default.

this is a brilliant rom...being working with it all morning. the ONLY issue i'm having is that when i start a new email or sms, as i type, it doesn't do auto-complete from my address book. was that disabled purposely? is there any easy way in the registry to reset that back to default on? thank you so much.

Have some glitches sadly.

1. Fixed thx to Laaban:
(If you have enabled D-Pad Scroll Navigation i registry (maybe using KaiserTweak?) - you have to disable it to change this behavior.)

When I open a message , SMS MMS or mail,
It always starts at the end of it .. I have to scroll up to read.

2. Solved , just flash DualTuch V2 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=355524) ;)
In MMS , when I try to capture with CAM or in VIDEO it just dont start the Camera.
Old pictures and videos is no problem.

3. Fixed by disable xT9. Dutty´s disable xT9 CAB (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=63520&d=1198925369)
Strange but sometimes the BACK key on the HW keyboard dont work.
A FN press twice solves it. Just that key.

I have been thoroughly enjoying this ROM, thank u again Dutty;

I finally decided its time to move up and install some new cabs i have been reading up on, but SPB backi[ surprisingly is no longer working for me; initially after 1st installation i did a backup; wanted to do a backup today before installing MSVC and Advan Config; tried 3 times but the backup screen stalled until i got a a message saying backup not responding and asked if i wanted to cancel, at that point phone froze and i had to do a soft reset..

tried 3 times but no luck, i know initially some people were having issues with this, how have they resolved it..?

Should i deinstall spb and reinstall or is it better to reflash..? and then do a clean install..?

Starts ,but time out trying to backup.

Dont know why , worked on 0.7b.

Now I use Sprite Backup from my TyTN II CD.
Works good even if I do like SPB Backup better.

Using Schap's Advanced Config tool, you can control what is shown in the Comm Manager.

Personally, I use the default look and I have 10 buttons there.

I remember having the same issue. What fixed it for me was performing a hard reset after I flashed a new ROM.

1.) Flash New ROM
2.) Wait till device gets to the screen "Tap Screen to set up device"
3.) Perform hard reset by holding down right and left soft keys and pressing reset
4.) All should be good!

I had the same problem too but all you need to do is disable xT9. I realised that with xT9 enabled, it slows down the hardware keyboard responds. You can download the .cabs Dutty posted a couple of post back to disable the xT9. Hope that helps.

It's because the file is password protected. You might need to open it with a different ZIP program. I d/led it on my wife's Mac and had to use Stuffit Expander vs Archive Utility to open it correctly.

Please read the first post clearly for your answers. This rom doesn't transcriber which lets write out things on the screen. I would suggest to that u use calligrapher which is much better.

Is there a way to fix this?

There's a nice little program that you can download and I bet it will solve your problem.

If your computer is not playing the file, it's probably and most likely it doesn't have the 'codec' to play it back, try upgrading your quicktimeto the latest version (which I believed have the codec for mp4).

Great ROM - this is my first time doing such a thing and it's running much better than I ever expected. Will defo donate in due course. I do have a slight issue though when using cubeconfig. I am unable to reassign the buttons to things that I want. I've read all 64 pages of this thread and looked elsewhere too but no-one seems to have the same problem. When I go to save my changes the error message reads "failed updated". Also the little graphic depiction in cubeconfig does not match the actual graphic of the cube - does this matter? Any help would be greatly appreciate!!

Permanent fix for enabling favourite people back in htc home thanks to [ponch]

here's the step by step to get the favorite people to stick:

1. Start > Programs > System Tools
2. Click on "FTouchFloConfig"
3. General Tab
4. Check the box "Enable FTouchFLO"
5. Click on "Done" (the left soft key)
6. Touch the screen at the very bottom with your index finger and drag it medium speed up to the top of the screen. Almost like you are wiping something off of the screen. Just drag from the bottom middle to the top middle. This should activate the CUBE.
7. Do the same drag Left to Right until you see the favorite people cube face. You'll know because of all the plus signs.
8. Add your people from the cube interface.
9. Exit the cube by dragging from the top of the screen to the bottom.
10. Go back into FTouchFloConfig and uncheck the box "Enable FTouchFLO" if you don't want the cube around anymore.

If you disable touchFlo for the cube, it will ask you to reset the device, FYI.

That should do it. At least it worked for me

Im still wondering 1 thing....how do you guys listen to youtube as you watch it? via headsets? I ask cos since the speaker is at the back on the TyTN II, i can barely hear what is being said when i play youtube. Or is there a way to really boost the volume. i set both the system & player volume to the max yet i find it rather soft & the speaker being at the back does not help either.

Anybody else facing this problem?

Works fine on mine. I've got 2 full day events on my calender everyday. It's just something to keep me on a positive note everyday when i look at the PDA :o but yah....it works fine. Suggest u create a full day event and not test it with birthdays. Also, birthday only get into the calender after a sync.

Well...the only settings i know for the calender is in Settings->Personal->Today->Items. Tap on Calender then select Options. Check "Upcoming appointments".

nope, not doing a thing, I even have display all day event checked... I think something i installed that is conflicting, when I do voice command "what's my next appointment?" it actually give me everything but it won't show... Funny thing is on the s2u2 v.86 it shows the one full day event :) So I think something is conflicting around...

I love and found no issues with htc touch keyboard but I will provide my cab which you can just install it and get rid of the xt9 issues.

Without the keyboardit wouldnt be Dualtouch v2:rolleyes:

I think its smart to leave out S2U2. I've had many issues with the 2 newest versions .95 and .96. S2U2 .95 I feel actually works better. .96 version would really mess up the top bar of the screen after I receieved a call. Quite annoying if you ask me. If you can live without having animated .gif's for your background then I would just use .86. Just my two cent's though. :)

The Rom feels Smoother, faster, and nicer also I change the Way i made this Rom and went back to the way I done the russian Rom which I change all my Registries and tried to replicate the Rom which I think I did.

The Rom also have majorities of upgraded programs and couple surprises which I think you will love:)

As I have probably flashed and re-flashed this ROM about 7 times now I did notice something interesting. Enabling the cube will work fine. I use the default settings to active the cube by swipping my finger top-down. However I also noticed that I can activate the cube swippling my fingers left --> right. Does anybody else have this issues as well? When I do swipe my finger left to right and then close out of the cube the background graphics change, to pink-green colors, etc. It then goes away in a second. Anybody else noticing this?

If I crate a full event appointment in the cell, it will be listed along with other appointments under calendar (several line of info), but if the full day event info was from my outlook, it doesn't seem to appear.

I use the two CAB on your web site... I've tried a lot of them, and the closer I got to a working system is by installing build 06xxxx followed by 070717 (v1.2).

Unlike all other CAB I've tried, it does work sometime over BT, however if it didn't detect properly a voice command it will hang for about 20s before you can run voice dialling again

i am new to the windows mobile experience, and i am going to recieve my very first windows mobile pda, the new HTC TYTN II (a.k.a. Kaiser) in a Week or so :D , and i have been following through all of the developments you have done, and already i am thinking of flashing my device before i even try the supplied software with ur "Dutty's DualTouch Rom v2".

Hey thanx for the reply but VLC is what i got installed and doesnt work, thought someone else had the same issue like mine. The .MP4 files that the TiLT records doesnt playback properly. PROBLEM is : I get the video portion just fine, but no sound. I have the. I tried in Media Player, VLC, QuickTime, RealPlayer, etc.... All the same... video plays but no sound.

I googled the issue and found out some other HTC phone users got it too and a couple solutions i found are.:cool:

1. In QuickTime it says: "Error 2041 - Invalid sample description in movie"
Solution: Checked the Apple.com or quicktime forums, if you use quicktime, change the file name from .MP4 to .3GP and it will work, it will not work otherwise. (if you dont know how to rename the files or dont see extension, Windows vista or XP go to tools>folder options>view>uncheck hide file extensions for known file types and voila)

2. Since I did so much reading on this, I got a new player (KMPlayer) that beats vlc in my books:) it plays the files recorded from the tilt just fine unlike VLC latest build, its fast and does all vlc does but it has a better GUI and plays anything you throw at it. you can get kmplayer here (http://www.download.com/The-KMPlayer/3000-2139_4-10659940.html?tag=lst-1)

Conclusion: The TiLt is fine, just that I couldnt get the right player to run the video files it records. apparently there is some issue with the qualcomm processor and the video output files of .MP4, some others have reported issues with any .MP4 files and had to do the same listed above.

Sounds great Dutty. Hopefully the hardware keyboard problems are resolved in this one. Sounds like they will be, as this one seems to have been a bit of a labour of love for you.

i downloaded the get-telenav cab, downloaded and installed telenav app, but everytime i try to login (phone num, first and last name screen), it shows zero percent progress bar (feels like it's not even trying) then the message 'cannot connect to server. please make sure that your phone is turned on and try again later' from within the telenav app. IE works...i can get to any website (non-cached). i get email from exchange and hotmail. GPS test app finds the com4 connection and satellites. any other stuff i should check? i am on the 1.27.12.32 radio if that means anything. and my PHONE is on...making phone calls with it. :)

any ideas? anyone having the same issue? i searched through the forums before posting, but only saw something about the telenav shortcut.

spent 1hr51min on the phone...1hr45min with AT&T. finally called telenav and they just told me to UNCHECK the medianet proxy server box and it works fine. email me if you have the same problem and i can walk you through it. btw...AT&T made sure that the proxy box was checked so i thought everything was fine there. telenav and GPS are running now.

I agree totally, it would be best without it and anyone can just get the cabs anyway.

I also think you should make a few more changes dutty, just my opinion:
the quick launcher on home screen, can you like just get rid of it period, its just redundant with all the other shortcuts that are already there on the home screen and included in the cube as well. you can get it in the cabs list..

maybe i missed out on it but why was wktaskL removed again, i loved that feature even though i know i can get it in cabs, it would be cool if cooked in.

get rid of audio manager, i think its redundant too, i rather windows media player

again, hope i dont offend any, just my opinion...

I've got a few questions though:

1. Is there a way to edit the "quick launcher"? I would like to put different shortcuts there and would love to know how to edit it. In particular bluetooth.
2. I seem to have lost the HTC Action and Endkey shortcuts on the two soft keys (I acidentally opened the soft key application and i've now got 1-Calc as my soft keys), how do i go back to default without having to flash my rom again.
3. Finally, is there a way to backup SMS's and contacts before flashing the rom? Just so i have my messages and contacts after the rom gets flashed.

Well, i finally managed to get the rom working.

I've got a few questions though:

1. Is there a way to edit the "quick launcher"? I would like to put different shortcuts there and would love to know how to edit it. In particular bluetooth.
2. I seem to have lost the HTC Action and Endkey shortcuts on the two soft keys (I acidentally opened the soft key application and i've now got 1-Calc as my soft keys), how do i go back to default without having to flash my rom again.
3. Finally, is there a way to backup SMS's and contacts before flashing the rom? Just so i have my messages and contacts after the rom gets flashed.

theres a xml in windows begins with ql_ All u do is edit that and add the icons u need. once ur in windows im pretty sure u'll figure out how to do it.

the softkeys just go back into soft key app and change them back. find the shortcuts to the 2 apps in windows folder and add back in the names. its pretty simple.

i believe pim backup does both of them. havent used it in a while though now bc of push email server doing that for me.

Hi Dutty,

Im unable to get IM+ to work with this rom. When ever i click on a buddy name, the window comes up but the box below where im suppose to enter a message is not showing up. Is there a fix for this? Also, when it comes to agile messenger, it would not connect through my data plan and only works with the USB connection.

Please let me know if theres anything I can do to get this fix

The Opera browser closes if i open up youtube.

I agree totally, it would be best without it and anyone can just get the cabs anyway.

I also think you should make a few more changes dutty, just my opinion:
the quick launcher on home screen, can you like just get rid of it period, its just redundant with all the other shortcuts that are already there on the home screen and included in the cube as well. you can get it in the cabs list..

maybe i missed out on it but why was wktaskL removed again, i loved that feature even though i know i can get it in cabs, it would be cool if cooked in.

get rid of audio manager, i think its redundant too, i rather windows media player

again, hope i dont offend any, just my opinion...

I agree about Quicklauncher, and I think it is rather ugly, but I have to disagree about wktask and audio manager. I didn't like wktask all that much, since QuickMenu is already a good taks manager, plus the HTC which serves pretty well.
Audio Manager for me is a must, as I feel that WMP is not as good as it at showing your musics in an organized way, and TCPMP is much better than it at playing movies (a little non-touch friendly indeed). In fact I liked that ROM where WMP was completely removed.

Also, those annoying menu tap sound could be removed though, or at least an option to specifically stop them. I tried everywhere but could only disable then by disabling all events at sounds & notifications, which is not a good solution.


Just wanted to share my thoughts. I can't wait for the new ROM. :D

Firstly, thanks again Dutty, this is a very nice rom. I like others have noticed that it seems to lock up more often than the 7b. Has anyone else noticed that Calligrapher WritePad is only outputting CAPITALS when sending SMS's? I did not have this problem with the 7b rom and none of the other text input methods have the problem. I tried reflashing but ended up with the same problem. While I am on the subject of Calligrapher: Has anyone gotten the full screen character recognition to work? When I try it, the ink does not show up at all. Happy New Year to All!

When I soft reset, all my contacts in favorites contacts in htc home disappear.

This solution dont work because de original files (.0409) are in ROM, and I cant delete:

So.. Its a drug inside the roms that makes Us reflash time after time.. ..
Finaly I can tell my friends that I'm just an flash drug addict..

Had to search through the thread for a while to find this...hope this solves your problem. Credit to Ponch92 for figuring this out.

Ok... for those of you that don't use the cube and prefer your favorite people on the home tab. (This is probably why they don't include the fav people on the home screen to begin with)

1. Go to Programs > System Tools > FTouchFLOConfig > General > Enable Touch flo

2. Set up your favorites from the cube. (they will be reflected on the home tab)

3. If you don't want to use the cube, unclick the Enable Touch Flo from the same place.

The friends will stay put as long as you enabled them from the cube even if you don't use the cube.

ive had this problem too. what i did to fix it was to just download the theme or zip file onto my desktop pc at home. extract the theme file on the desktop pc. then have my tilt conected via usb cable and active sync, then just drag the theme file to the my documents file on ur tilt and u can now choose the theme like normal through settings.

Need more information. It's a simple download zip file, unzip the file, copy and paste into the GFX folder in S2U2.. what part are you stuck on?

i had the file at one point, i have lost it and now need it again, for what ever reason my computer will not download it, once i get it i know what to do. the problem i am facing is obtaining the zip file from the site, it no longer downloads for me.

If you do get it, you might have to edit some of the graphics because they have pink lines around them (the arrow icons, the slider bar graphic and the icons for the top of the screen. they are pink because of some PNG transpareny or something. I was going to do it but the only thing I wanted from that theme was the backgrounds! I am going to make my own arrow slide icon.

Anyhoo, might want to post in their thread, I don't know if this has much to do with Dutty's rom :P

Its pretty nice let me tell ya. When I had my 8525 all I used was schapps roms. His 4.22 is pretty quick and I like that I can load any cube I like to it. Running SCLP 1.62 right now. Pretty sweet.

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has had problems running Shapeservices' IM+ (http://www.shapeservices.com/en/products/details.php?product=im&platform=pocketpc) application on Dutty's DualTouch v1.1 ROM.

Some background:
For those who do not know, according to their website, IM+ is an all-in-one messanging program for AIM®/iChat, MSN®/Windows Live™ Messenger, Yahoo!®, ICQ®, Jabber®, Google Talk™ and MySpace® IM.

I have not tried the application on the original AT&T Tilt ROM, and cannot remember if I tried it on any of Dutty's earlier ROMS. A quick scan of AT&T's Tilt forum shows that some people use it on theirs, so I am assuming it works correctly on the original ROM. It also runs correctly on my AT&T 8525 with vp3G's Hermes_WM6_WWE_vp3G_v3.0.0_ATT ROM.

The Problem:
The specific problem I am experiencing is related to the chat box. The bottom section does not seem to display. This is the section where text can be entered. The buttons for "Send", "Smiley", "Roster", and "Close" below the text entry box is also not being displayed. Moreover, the program does not display received messages. It is almost like the program has locked up, except for the fact that I can still access the menus.

The Hope:
I am hoping someone has come across this issue on Dutty's DualTouch v1.1 ROM and has a fix. Otherwise, I am looking for suggestions of alternative applications that allow me to communicate using the popular IM protocols. Thanks!

Schap's ROM's have always been great. Its truly amazing considering the fact that he does not own a Hermes or even a TyTN II for that matter. He makes all of his ROM's without actually owning the device. I have never been disappointed with his ROM's.

4.22 runs very smooth right now, Especially when typing with the keyboard and transitioning from Landscape to Portrait, very smooth.

I also know that Dutty get's a lot of his inspiration from Schap's.

I completely agree. One of the reasons I have tried every release of Dutty's and stuck with it. He a very genuine individual very hard to find in this day and age. Like you said he's always willing to lend a hand unlike a lot of the other Chef's out here. I merely flashed to Schap's ROM because I knew I would be flashing to Dutty's DualTouch v2 very shortly.

Off to bed...can't wait up any longer...hopefully when I wake up it will be Christmas!

For some people it works great, for a lot of them it doesn't (this is probably why it isn't enabled by default in the first place). Just FYI :)

I havent heard any probs so far or mentioned by anyone, but if This is the case I might re-consider it in v2. If any one got issues with assisted agps please let me know soon:(
