Well the symptoms are that it takes very long to get a lock or never enough satellites. Took a while to figure out it was due to AGPS.

I am a huge! fan of your roms Dutty. They attract a lot of attention since I actually work for AT&T and customers are checking my phone out ALL the time. I have spent the past few months under the radar tracking your roms as well as others annnnd well, your the best. I have modified your roms to my "standards" and had some ideas about a future rom based off of how Ive used my phone.

1. Use touch gestures to pull open other applications aside from the cube spinning left or right. ie- the iphone app or freestylewm from left to right and pocketcm from right to left...

2. vibrating keys option built into settings (dial pad only or all screen taps)

3. sent notification on the sms automatically deleted out of the registry

4. A cab with your cache/ registry tweaks. lol I always see that you have some "special tweaks" and any time I use KaiserTweak or Andvanced Config, I feel like it throws the registry settings for the cache off by default. (maybe I dont know what Im talking about?)

5. Incorporating a different UI like the new "pointUI" , the LG KS20, or the Meizu... in addition to the cube =)

I have soo many more, but Im sure you get the drift. Nevertheless, you continue to incorporate more and more ways to make me love my phone like it was brand new like twice a week atleast and I just wanted to say thanks. Im not trying to criticize at all. Let me know if you have any questions. If not, keep up the good work =) and I cant wait for v2!!!!!!!!

Should be here soon, just making sure everytging is good, I havent beta tested this one so I'm not sure what bugs are in, but none found yet. a Couple hours early london afternoon:)

1. Thats how I currently have my phone set up... left to right pulls up pocket cm .17 for quick texting and right to left pulls up freestylwm for an ez quicklaunch with changing backgrounds (plus customers think its cool when they come up asking for the iphone, bleh) it used to be opera mini since i have the customized mini with copy and paste and multiple window features (i have a link if you need it) the down up is set to the all black cube annnd the up down is of course minimize

2. The vibrate on screen tap is pretty good. i think the program is called voa.exe or something. Its in the hacking and development thread. The vibrate on dialpad only works responsively if you have smartdial off

3. For some reason on your last couple of roms, it doesnt come with the notification off. I dont think im missing any steps. Flash rom, wait for "screen tap" to start page and then *hard reset* weird =/

5. I only meant the today buttons for the ks20... phone button for the phone of course. program button to "windows mobile programs folder" and text to pocketcm or standard windows mobile text and cant remember the last one =/

but yes, that new point UI with a little color customizing and tweaking... would make the kaiser the ultimate!

It gives me a fast fix in 15sec and when you're driving in a area with no signal it's keeps working for some time... that's what it does.

So you can disable it but i set it on again ;-)

I think it could be region as I normally run gps test first gets signal within 30sec and then just run tom tom but the majority counts so i disable it

Where I am (Australia) having A-GPS turned on makes any GPS app on my Kaiser take from 3 upto 10 minutes to get a lock, with A-GPS off and just QuickGPS updated I can get a lock in TomTom under 20 seconds. I think it may have something to do with only some countries/carriers allowing A-GPS requests from thier cell towers, this causes the kaiser to time out a lot of requests waiting for a response from the cell tower.

Yep i think you're right... try google-maps on your mob and see how long it takes to get your pos. from the cell towers.
Overhere it take less than 30sec with google-maps to get a pos. within a radius off 700m.

A-GPS is for assist when you gps-sat signal is to weak.
Q-GPS just download data with GPS-Sat pos. i allways use it and give me a fast fix within 15sec, app tomtom 6.2

1) Look in Dutty's cab collection for HTC_Zip_v1.20.27596.2.CAB for the HTC Zip Manager

2) Do a Google search for "tsk themes". There are some in various threads around here, but somewhere like www.pocketpcthemes.com has a better variety. SPB Mobile Shell and various other pieces of software give you an option to change themes/colours too.

The wait is worth man, Lots of hard work went into this one, Just call it a new years present for everyone who have contributed and stuck by me with my first half-Russian rom :D and to the Kaiser community which is a Joy to be.

As I have probably flashed and re-flashed this ROM about 7 times now I did notice something interesting. Enabling the cube will work fine. I use the default settings to active the cube by swipping my finger top-down. However I also noticed that I can activate the cube swippling my fingers left --> right. Does anybody else have this issues as well? When I do swipe my finger left to right and then close out of the cube the background graphics change, to pink-green colors, etc. It then goes away in a second. Anybody else noticing this?

Is there any possible way that you could implement SCLPF 1-62 cube into your ROM?
alltheway...I've noticed similar things with the cube in v1.1. When I go to open it, it takes several swipes for it to open. When I swipe from L2R it will open without me wanting it to. When it opens a L2R swipe is sometimes very slow to rotate cube. Color change is infrequent but does happen occasionally. :confused:

You're not kidding when you said the best! I've been playing with this rom now for about an hour and it is undoubtedly your best work yet, mate. Hats off to you. Very fast and stable so far. I'm even getting better reception in my office, with 12.32, than I was with V1.1. Memory usage is great also, with just your rom installed, I've still got 129.62mb in the main storage and 59.44 in program storage. FanFreakintastic. Check your pay pal account....time to buy you another pint or two. Gotta go play some more. Thanks for all your hard work.:p

Good going! I am using the stock AT&T ROM, but have added numerous HTC cabs and I had the same problem, i.e., the PTT Button did remap for Voice Speed Dialing, BUT, my Motorola BT would not work any more with voice tags/voice speed dialing after I installed the following cabs:
1) PTT_Fix_4Tilt
2) OEM_Assign_PTT_Button.cab
3) CyberionVoiceSD_for_WM6_v1.2_build_61226_1.cab

Could you please list exactly what you did (including the cabs you used) to make your Kaiser remap the PTT Button for Voice Speed Dialing/Voice Tags (not MS Voice Commander), and still enabled your Bluetooth headset to work with your Voice Speed Dialing also.

Thanks for yr rom and I am in the middle of customize it. I do found some minor issues as follow:

1. a 16mb mxip_initdb.vol is included in most of yr rom which is not need
2. Two files w/ very strange file extension (forget what is that) from 3.5 .net has to be rename to mscoree.dll and XXX (I forget about this one too).
3. A few of duplicate entries in initflashfiles.dat which doesn't look good. :)

Dutty, tried all your roms except the latest v2 experimental and 1.1 final is my favorite all considered. You da man.
Out of curiosity, how much work is there in taking this 1.1 and making it work for a .49 tilt radio which does add performance for U.S. ATT? Are there known differences between htc and att roms or is it buried deep in the code?

had the same issue as it was posted earlier in this thread. i'm from switzerland and using special characters like äöü (umlaute), but this didn't worked.

to solve this issue, simply change the reg key HKLM\Hardware\Devicemap\Keybd\CurLang to 409.

this worked for me an i can now write ü by typing u and fn+space on the keyboard.

Just doing my first ever flash. Got an att tilt 3 weeks ago, hated the software, which lead me here. Got through all the hoops, the white screen, etc, reading this amazing board. Now, flashed to factory htc rom, but want to try dutty dual touch v3 final. Unable to open zip w password " dutty " . Pls advise, I must be doing something stupid.

I tried duttys, I tried dutty, DUTTY, DUTTYS, I tried several ways. In those 80 plus pages, it says several time to use dutty. It also doesnt help that half the links 404.

Next time before becoming a flaming moron just take a moment to try to help a guy. Take a look a post:

besides you and kian, there hasn't been a post on this thread for over a year. I wouldn't expect this thread to be updated with the latest information. I'd recommend trying some of the newer roms out there.

I never failed downloading from fl1p's site. You need to check your internet connection.
