Installation:


How to install a cooked ROM.

Install Hard SPL (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=334679)
Put device in bootloader mode.
Run KaiserCustomRUU.exe and good luck.


Final Notes:

Which radio version are you using? Try flashing the radio that is in my signuature to see if it fixes the problem.

I tried to flash the original rom, the maja italian rom, the radio you suggested me and then the udK rom again but the button never worked (originally it worked). What do you think happened?

Guys, I have radio 1.27.12.11 installed and I'm quite worried about upgrading.
I'd be pleased to have better signal strength and longer battery lifetime.

I'm worried about what I read concerning sim lock, phone lock and so on...
I have the original 1.56.408.5 ROM and I use Vodafone Italian net. Do you suggest me to try and upgrade the radio? In this case: to which radio?

Ragazzi, ho su la ROM 1.56.408.5 originale HTC con radio 1.27.12.11 e ho sentito che a fare l'upgrade della radio si può guadagnare in segnale e in durata della batteria. Ho letto di gente che facendo l'upgrade si è ritrovata il blocco sim e altre magagne simili (vorrei evitare visto il costo dell'oggetto :p )
Voi che radio usate? Con che radio funziona questa nuova ROM?

after the rom flash i have done a hard reset, but the boot image is the old at&t one.. after the boot the rom is udk..

Try to set SRS 3d Effect to 0% and the SRS Focus Level to ~60/80%, in this way works better.

Phone connection is weaker than other roms and several times now, I've lost phone connection in area of good signal and it won't come back without repeated attempts to turn phone and/or ariplane mode on/off. Soft reset immediately recovers strong signal.

As a side effect of course, the signal loss chews the battery up pretty bad (searching for signal).

Are there settings that can be adjusted beyond the automatic AT&T setup?

Anyone else to confirm?

Running ..12.17. I think there is something going amuck in the new roms that are not AT&T specific...just a hunch, cause so far it seems only AT&T customers are seeing this (Tllt model specific and/or AT&T service specific?)

Saw similar behavior in Schaps 4.31 also. Again, a Kaiser base rom, not a Tilt base rom....

generally it comes supplied in the confection at the moment of the purchase. At least in mine tnty 2 have been therefore. bye:D

UDK... I am not aware there is infra-red hardware on the Kaiser/HTC8925! I do not see there is a need to have "Beam" in the Comm Manager window. Please substitute it with EdgeData on/off, that would toggle with the 3G.

Excuse me! :confused:. The 'Beam' switch is not only meant for IR but to enable data transfers between two devices by other means also i.e bluetooth. So it's necessary to have it available in the comm manager to simplify the use of menu.:D

You DO NOT need an icon to enable or disable that BT feature. You can also have the file transfer feature turned on or off with the BT button.

I was able to transfer files via BT with the "Beam" turned OFF.... so your claim is half true.

on an aside, is it just me or does it really seem that the Kaiser has drawn in some serious retards into the world of windows mobile phone rom flashing? I previously had a Wizard, then a Hermes and those forums were busy in their heyday, with a fair few silly questions. but to get a thread with a 1000 replies was pretty much unheard of. i mean a lot of the post in this thread is covering very old ground, and the 1500+ post of Dutty's rom!! i mean wtf 1200+ of them are just repeat questions or the same guys giving the same answers.

You can use either of or a combination of KaiserTweak and Schap's Advanced Configuration Tool to achieve this.

PS. A couple of the great chefs in the Kaiser forum have since adopted 32MB pp as their default setting: Schaps with his v4.31 Pro ROM and Quentin with Q-Mobile v1.2 while Dutty ran 32MB as a variant of his DualTouch v3 but settled on 24MB for his v4, which incidentally is also "fast"!!!

Are you using the fixed version? For me the WMP starts ok, but if you are not using the fixed one It might not work

Is anyone else experiencing lower volume as I am? I even tweaked the sound reg but no effect. I think it might be the SRS WOW HD Settings that control the volume. It also could be my device. I will install on another and see if there is a differences.

Other than that, this ROM has everything I need, and looks beautiful, besides the speed and stability.

I am NOT seeing any stability issue.... have not crashed as someone indicated he had earlier.

i find that the bluetooth implemention is the best one i have used so far..excellent and fast connections with a number of devices..also stereo performance with stereo bluetooth headphones is excellent..

A temporary solution would be to copy new images into the HTC folder and overwrite..No need to do that for me though. The default images are very nice..

I downloaded the pagepool link and ran the program. After selecting the nbh file i clicked on the 32 circle and then change to. Then the program said ready in like half a second. So is the pagepool now 32? How do i know for sure what the pagepool is? Im sure ill be flamed but again what effect does a higher page pool have on a rom compared to a small page pool? Thanks guys for your help. Also, whats the highest page pool setting someone has used for a rom? Just wondering.

Let us know soon if you are thinking to upload a new fixed version udK, i often use to change theme and HHC is very usefull to make HTC Home more similar to the new theme.

Yeah, seems the solution, to me at least, is a fix that has \HTC Home folder relocated to \Windows directory. That fix though appears to be nothing short of "cooking" a fixed ROM...he he he...talk very nicely to the chef!!!!! :D

Java manager works, it only doesn't show correctly the softkey bar, but i think udK is able to find a fix without leaving it out of the rom.

the issue of HHC - can it it be worked around simply by copying the required files into the new HTC HOME folder? this used to work int he earlier days before HHC was available to customize home pages... just shut down the HTC home plugin - replace either clock fonts/icons/etc and the soft-reset and start up again?

haven't tried this on this ROM yet

and yes! UDK is with Kaiser - i have been on UDK's Rom when i was on the trinity and have actually got ALL of my friends on trinity to be on the Trinity UDK6.1!

EDIT : WOW, i've installed eBuddy multi messenger for Samsung phone ^__^, Compiled, optimized... Very very Very fatst... IT's WONDERFUL !!!!

EDIT 2 : My telephone can't get "operator signal". I've to reset Kaiser to get signal. It seems be to veryfy if i launch "java test" whit usb cable plugged in. If i use 3G or GPRS connetion everithing works fine and i not have the "signal" error.

EDIT 3: Now i do not have signal error even if i use usb cale connecion. Mhmmm....

Ciao udk ho provato ad installare ebuddy messenger. Ho installato il jar di ebuddy per cellulari samsung avendo le stesse dimensioni del display. L'ha compilato, ottimizzato e lanciato. La pima volta, con il cavo usb collegato ha funzionato ma uscendo ha dato errore di rete non mi prendeva piu segnale e ho dovuto resettare il Kaiser. Ho riprovato sia con il cavo sia con la naviga 3 e tutto è andato bene senza errori. Insomma si è presentato una volta. Escludo sia stata una casualità perche qui 3 prende bene ho il ripetitore sopra al palazzo. :) comunque funziona davvero in maniera fantastica.

Hello. I have some problems with this great rom and videocall. When I receive a videocall the front camera don't work properly and the image will be distorted.
When I start a videocall everything work fine. Could you check this??
