Hi All and Merry Yuletide greetings!

I have a HTC dual on Orange, owned for 3 days, having been an owner of a SE P990i previously.

The phone is very good, but I would like some help from more experienced users as to a couple of questions / points:

1) If you are using the Navigational Control / Enter and are more than one level down in a sub menu, I keep looking for a 'Back' key to bring you back one sub menu and then again etc until you go back to the main screen. I cant seem to achieve this unless I tap the top right hand side of the screen. (The cross)

2) I have several e-mail accounts set up, but they are not part of Outlook E-mail. They are just separate accounts which I have on virgin, Uk2, bt etc. On the P990i it was possible to with just one click, send / receive all e-mail accounts. I cant seem to acheive this with the dual. I have to go separately into each account and hot send/receive. I am aware that I can set it up to automatically check every so many minutes / hours, but I would prefer to be able to check all accounts by pressing one button. On the orange phone, they have the option of 'Checking Orange E-mail' on the home screen. This is what I would like, but 'Check all e-mail accounts'.

The phone is generally very good. A little top heavy if you are using it lying down and using the navigation control!

im not sure about the 2nd question, but doesnt the red phone down button bring you back to the main screen?

Thanks for your answer............

This is correct. However, getting back to the main screen is the not the objective, simply to move back one level.

For example:

If I go to Start/settings/today and I want to get back to the settings page I have to hit the top right hand side of the screen, the OK button.
It would be easier if there was a 'back button' or where you could assign a button to take on the job of you having to click the OK button at the top right of the screen.

re your q1.
well, there is no "back" concept in situations like your example of "Start > settings > today". it's windows mobile. you can imagine it as the desktop windows. you call control panel from start menu, then choose one item to customize. now you have multiple "windows" on your desktop. so, to uncover the back one, you need to click the "ok" (or "X") on top-right corner to close the topmost window.
