Thanks :D but the slide button is for man united support...:(
can you put battery together with wallpaper?and can you make a battery red and black with logo AC Milan with usb connection?
I will do the battery-to-wallpaper for you tonight (with USB)!! For the battery being red and black with the logo, do you mean something like this attachment (trimmed a bit of course)?
P.S. I never posted the new arrows!!

Copy Battery Level.mscr to your prefered folder for Mortscript files & create a shortcut to it in the Windows\Startup folder."
So I did all this but on soft reset the device sort of hangs with my ram usage shown at 100% and the S2U2 VU battery charge meter not working but the image of it is there with no needle. I can still get to my file manager to delete the Mortscript shortcut from the Startup folder, then soft reset and back to normal. The original Mortscript file you gave me that I create the shortcut for resides in My Documents folder. Does it need to be somewhere else? Or is there a problem with the file?
Thanx man.

(If it isn't close enough for you, your image can be worked with pretty easily though)
Thank you stopthebus for bringing my error to my attention (I am usually very anal about giving credit where due): This clock is one of many posted in another thread by KidGixxer....not sure if he made them, but I AM sure I didn't!!!

Installation:
Assuming Mortscript is installed & S2U2 is installed in \Program Files in main memory.
Copy battery1.png, battery2.png, battery3.png & batteryG.png to \S2U2\GFX
Also copy Battery Level folder (& contents) to \S2U2/GFX
Copy Battery Level_BlackLCD.mscr to your prefered folder for Mortscript files & create a shortcut to it in the Windows\Startup folder.

Hello alanlsmith,
Syrguy1969 made a VU meter battery charger for me using this Mortscript in the attached folder. I have followed all the instructions and the graphics all install but the charging graphics do not work and my Ram usage shows 100% in sort of a hang mode but I can still get to my file manger to delete the mscr from my Startup folder to get things back to normal. Can you look at this and see if the graphics and scripting are correct? Or can you steer me in the right direction?
Thanx in advance.

This is the clock from James's Blue Manilla v1.3 for the Manilla2d skins..
I was wondering if anybody could make it a clock for s2u2, if it's possible to have it stay the original way it, with both the analog clock and digital digits, that would be great.. I've attatched the files from his Manilla2d skins' zipped folder.. Like I said, I'd like to keep it exactly the way it is, but with hands added to the clocks' face.. LoL, much thanks to anyone who can accomplish this task!

I've tried the files from your zip exactly as they are & except for the 'Battery Level' folder being called 'Battery Level2' & so the script couldn't find the images, it ran fine, but obviously didn't change the image, with the correct folder name it worked as expected. I've tried all sort of things to break it, but couldn't, I've tweaked the images a bit & put them back in your zip file, but I don't think they are causing any problems. I have attached a script which will create a log file (in the same folder that the script is in) so that I can check, if you could just put it on your device & run it, then put the contents of the file created 'Mort_Log.txt in to a PM to me.
Oh! one thing that can happen, is if you copy a new (no needle) Battery2 image to the GFX folder & the battery level hasn't changed then there will be no trigger for the script to change the images over, you can get round this by altering the registry entry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Local\BatteryLevel, it's this entry that the script compares with the current battery % so if you alter this (or even delete it) it will force the script to update the image.
Sorry I haven't given you a more positive answer.

@kbywg
I saw from the log file you sent me that your device records the battery level as single percentages, whereas the script expects 10% increments, while I don't think this is the cause of any 'hanging' it does mean that the script is doing processing that it doesn't need to, as it's trying to copy across images that don't exist. So I've modified the script to round up (or down) to the nearest 10% to match the available images. (it obviously would be possible to have a 100 different images, one for each percent change, but I think that a bit over the top). Attached script has the same name as original & functions in the same way.
I still haven't figured out what might be causing your problem, as I've tried to re-create it, but with no success, in fact when the device is first booted, if it's not charging then the first part of the script will run, see that it's not on charge, then exit, which should only take a few milliseconds, as the script hardly does anything if the device is not on charge. But the attached, changed script may help...

i have to ask you another think..are you able to make bigger icons of attached file please?
kbywg
12th October 2008, 04:55 PM
@kbywg
Nothing has changed. Here is the new log file after installing your mods. Does it read any different?
kbywg
12th October 2008, 05:07 PM
Just wondering, instead of dealing with this scripting problem, you spoke of an animated battery charger. Would you be able to make the VU meter needle bounce back and forth from say around the point you made 20% to say about 80% while it is charging and at 100% it can just stop at the zero mark where red and black meet? Does this still require Mortcript?

Nothing has changed. Here is the new log file after installing your mods. Does it read any different?
Afraid I still can't see what could be causing the problem, I've added logging to the script I've been running & it is only active for a few milliseconds each time it runs.
As for the animated battery level, I've actually been having a go at this myself, it shows the needle swinging from the left to a position indicating the level of charge & back again, it still has to use a script as the S2U2 battery display doesn't support animated images,
The way it works is in S2U2 Settings you
Set the wallpaper to wallpaper.gif
Set the full screen battery to Off
Put the 'Battery Level Anim' folder in S2U2\GFX\
Put the 'Standby_Wallpaper.gif' image in S2U2\GFX\
Run the script.
There are two versions of the script, one just runs & the other creates a detailed log file in the same folder as the script, this will show when the script starts & exits, as well as what it's doing as a result of the battery level changing, being put on / taken off charge, etc. hopefully this might show whether the script os getting stuck on your device.
The log file will get quite large fairly quickly, so you may not want to run with the logged version for very long.
I'm still fiddling with this, but it seems to work fairly well, except that some times the refreshing of S2U2 is not very neat (I have blanked the screen whilst this is done, but it's not perfect)
Oh! you can use any (static or animated) wallpaper for when it's off charge, it just has to be a .gif & called 'Standby_Wallpaper.gif'
Thank you & Syrguy1969 for the original image.
I hope A_C doesn't feel like this is perverting his excellent program.

Unfortunatly the only way to get the needle to move would be with the battery animation A_C wrote into it. The scripting is the only way to get anything different. Basically the animation has to be a constant left to right sweep of one image, so the best a needle can do is to gradually appear on the screen, it can't show at different points on the screen without the scripting. I hope that made sense, if not, I can try again.
P.S. I thought you got it working?

Well, with all due respect, it's not actually "transparent.." You can still see some of the outline of the original sliden.png that I modified.. It's actually pretty easy to do using Gimp.. Or you can go back to, what was it, Bob? Post 2005 where I uploaded these files in a .zip folder?

Glad that sorted it out, as I said, I had run out of things to look into as far as the script causing the problem.
I have refined the script, as there were some issues with it incorrectly recording the start / finish of charging, something to do with the way Mortscript works when the device is on standby.
The new script should be much more reliable, also it does less file copying & doesn't use a .gif for the 'off charge' wallpaper so S2U2 uses a lot less memory.
If you use this script all you need is the animated images in the 'S2U2\GFX\Battery Level Anim' folder & whatever you want for the off charge wallpaper as a jpeg in the 'S2U2\GFX' folder. (the script changes theS2U2 settings from Wallpaper.jpg to Wallpaper.gif as appropriate.
Of course you can use any images you want for the animated battery, as long as they are named '0percent.gif, 10percent.gif ... 100percent.gif
It also creates a (smallish) log file (in the same folder as the script) which only records when the device is put on / taken off charge & when the battery level changes (on or off charge, which could be useful for monitoring how the battery is performing.)

A_C has stated the skinning of the new version of S2U2 (v1.30) is slightly different than previous versions, and may lead to glitches if you just use an old skin/theme with the new version.
So far the only difference I have found that needs to be changed in the new version are the buttons!!! The old buttons.png is now broken into two different files....easily fixed, but will not work correctly until repaired!!!!
If anyone is using custom-made buttons (mine or others) and can't/don't have time to fix them, please feel free to IM me or post here and I will fix them for you!!!

Another thing in the new version of S2U2 that may clash with the old is that A_C has included a battery image that shows a USB connection when charging (batteryc.png). This file may disrupt a lot of custom batteries while the device is charging, especially full-screen batteries and unique image batteries!!!!
I haven't tried changing the name of it to see if it will work without the file, but a quick fix is to copy and rename battery1 to batteryc (saving the original). A more enjoyable fix would be to create a custom batteryc to fit your current battery theme (if it can)!!!
Again...if anyone needs help with it, just let us know!!! :-)

I am not sure if the scripting backs up my idea on this, but I think if you have battery animation checked at 'always' in the settings it should show the % image indicated by the script. It sounds like the battery is only showing while charging so when you unplug the wallpaper shows instead of battery.
(alanlsmith) may be able to verify/deny my idea!

Yes...not very realistic I'm afraid! it's '100percent.gif', I did it that way because most devices (well the ones that only report in 10% increments) will stay on 100% for quite a while whilst still actually charging, I could change the last animation to kind of quiver around full if that would look better.
Edit: Just seen the post by Syrguy1969, To clarify, the animation will show all the time that the mains charger is connected, regardless of whether it's fully charged. I don't think that there is anything that can be done with MortScript to detect when the charge is actually complete.
Also the script bypasses the Battery settings in S2U2 (in fact it sets 'Full screen battery' to 'No')

Here's a reasonable 'quivering' needle, I tried to make it so the movement looks fairly random.
Just replace the 100percent.gif in the 'GFX\Battery Level Anim folder'
(also if the phone is already at 100% and charging then the new image won't show until the phone is taken off charge, left for, say 20 seconds, then put back on charge.)

1. rename slide, sliden and slideanis.png to bak

Doing this way, the battery remaining live will always be shown.

Yeah, very lovely picture. It's from Renoir. The title of the work is Luncheon of the Boating Party. I always love impressionist. Glad you also like it.
Attached the images for you. The portrait version (wallpaper.jpg) is a part of the picture and the landscape (wallpaperL.jpg) has the complete picture.
Hi, cant resist for tweaking this one...additional to your collection but it's QVGA and portrait only. I have attached a transparent arrows so you won't see it but slide to unlock still works. You know the rest ...:)

Great job TheChampJT (And Bob_55!), like the simple bar. Any chance someone can add some reflective love to this one for a little more "3D" effect? Thanks!

Hi Bob_55
Is it your intention to make the battery 'tube' looks 'bended'? Cos' it sure gives me the optical illussion. :-) To make it look straight, I think you only need to show one side of the inner part of the metal head/cab.
Just an idea. :-)

I installed the 1.30 version last night, and the battery graphics are different. Now all of the work that I did a couple weeks ago is worthless and I have to start over. I tried just splicing the old graphics, but ended up with it being shifted 25% to the left. A_C added the USB plug to the old green battery, but it is a 4th graphic to the right of the battery, and it's oddly off set. I have no idea how to do a full screen battery for the new version. HELP!!!
I've included my already edited graphics and the ROYAL blue Manilla 2D wallpaper if someone could please turn this into a full screen

PLEASE, concerning requests, I got to tell that, when I am able to do the job I'm please to help, but if I got to many requests... and private messages for requests, I think I'm gone a leave, I don't asked money for my worked (maybe I could asked for it) so, Take it the way I made it... if you wanted, you can made it the way you wanted... so now for the requests that I have.... here are some files...

And a battery tested... the Battery2 show the% in transparent background and Batteryg got the % in red... so when it's charging the color red covered the transparent one...

I tried my best to line up the tabs the best I could using the original Poorlyduck's Ultimate Suite wallpaper for S2U2, cutting and pasting the tabs into the wallpaper background that Bob_55 so graciously supplied. Just a little modding, all the credit goes to the aforementioned gentlemen. Thanks for all the hard work to bring us this sweet theme for our phones. Lastly thanks to Kieth Dupont for the background to go in spb mobile shell with the M2D theme. Thanks of course to Greatbal for the M2D theme for the spb ms 2.1.

here we go for another tweak ...yes it is working with the v1.3x.
1. set topbar to off, leave the bottom on
2. set the clock appearance to ":HH:mm:" it creates spaces set by c.png
3. set show full-screen battery to "always"
EDIT;
just thought that red clock would be nice :)
time format "HH:mmtt"

Okay...this probably has been answered before, but I haven't found out where so can someone help me out?
I want to make a landscape wallpaper out of something that could be used as the regular wallpaper. Orientation is wrong. How can I keep the same picture, but change the dimentions so that nothing is cut off?
I just want the attatched picture to use for my landscape wallpaper.

what clock for today? is it gonna be analog or digital? which one?
am I going to have the battery display all time or only when charging?
tired of restarting iLock2.exe to have changes in effect?
Here is a little scripting to help in resetting S2U2, change the clock, etc.
Enjoy ...:)
