How do I change Dutty rom splash to animated HTC Startup logo?

I know about extracting nbh which I did with official rom, but when I extract the latest dutty lite 7b rom I only get an OS.nb file, there is no splash file! How come? I want to change the default dutty splash screen to the animated HTC logo one with the spinning htc logo. Will this be possible at all or I have to build it by scratch into the rom?

I may be wrong but can't you just replace the animated.gif file in the windows folder with the animated.gif of your choice?..
