Hi there,
Perhaps this question has already been asked, but i cannot find it with the search function...
Is it possible to remove programs from a modified ROM? Just a few are listed under "remove programs". Is it possible to remove some others too? Or do I have to install a Lite-ROM then and install all the applications that I do want?
Thanks in advance!
Henk.

You have to install the Lite ROM and install all the applications you want; however, you can edit the ROM and recompile it if you want and can.

Mmm, I'm afraid I'm not such an advance user that I can recompile a ROM myself.. :-(
Too bad that I can't remove anything from a ROM. Isn't there a application which can remove programs for me perhaps?

By definition, it is NOT POSSIBLE to remove anything, programs or otherwise, from a ROM, hence read-only.
Read the threads on cooking ROMs, and perhaps that will instill some confidence...it did for me. Remember, we were ALL noobs once.
