Hey animelover,

I couldn't believe what my eyes has seen! A german version of shadow! Great! I follow since a few day the threads about korands rom, hm4's rom and cloudyfa's both roms. I couldn't decide whether to install shadow touch, shadow clean or korand wwe 2.3. But now I've found hopefully MY rom ;-) Thank's a lot for your work, man!

But one question. Is your version based on shadow touch or shadow clean? it looks like clean, right? If not, doesn't matter!

btw, is the language of this thread german or english? I personally prefered to write in english so that international developers and user might follow the thread

The only one really bug I found is that the Notes application aren't working like allother german cooked WM6 ROMs from me! I don't know how to fix that problem still today! :(

This bug isn't intersting for me because I'm using PhatNotes with PhatPad! ;)
But for all other user's I want to fix it!

Yes, it's the clean version which was earlier provided by our beloved Cloudyfa!

I've made a skin file for today screen, CommManager, WMP and Phone with the Mysterious style! Later I want to make the same with the Touchstyle and can be downloaded at the original thread at PPCFreaks.de! I hope you enjoy it! :D

The bug you can remove by renaming all muis from 0409 to 0407 then notes will work again!

This is a known bug of ShadoW Clean at a time when there was only one version of this ROM! I want to fix it in the next release!

Hi animelover,

great work :) i like the rom really much :D

but there are two problems:

1. no wpa2

2. no voip :confused:

please help me with a hint or download

I'm using WPA-TKIP instead of WPA2 because the WLAN card in my mother's notebook didn't support WPA2, so I can't say if it's working! But some other users of this ROM can say more about it?


2. no voip :confused:
Have you tried schap's VoIP COnfig tool? The VoIP function is allready integrated in the ShadoW 1.0 Clean ROM! I haven't tried it yet but want to try it next week!

i tried renaming the MUIs so often but without success! if you get it working, please tell it me! :D



Renaming MUI files:
- Dump the ROM with Hypercore Kitchen (Molski.biz aren't working)
- Dump the registry hives from the ROM
- Change everything related to language things in registry (MUI or Locale, for an example)
- rename all files with "0409" to "0407"
- cook the new ROM

That's all I think! ;)

no thats not all: in registry files default.hv and user.hv and boot.rgu most values (Einträge) need to be renamed from 0409 to 0407

great work, but.... - the ShadoW 1.0 GER Rom is much slower than the one "originally" comes from cloudyfa. - Any suggestions?

That's right, indeed! But I cook my ROMs in the non-packaged form and after renaming and changing all I package them and make a flashable ROM of them!

The next holidays are coming and I have enough time then! :D
