W100 Remote Control/stereo headphone adapter?

Has anyone bought and tried the HTC W100 remote control/headphone adapter (http://www.mobileplanet.com/p.aspx?i=154794)?

It looks like it should work, and I'll probably buy it; but I was curious if anyone already has.
