I saw 1 post in China and there put the SRS application to the rom and manage tweak the sound larger.

I used the SRS now, it can improve the sound of Phophet.
I can give it to you, but it's a Chinese Version. Check box is use it or not.
first chose please use "Headphones"
After you installed, you can find it in setup-system.
Four items are 3D effec, middle sound, centralize level and clearly level.
you can adjust them depend on your ring.

there are two different file on the link that keinenplandavon shared. i rebuilt cab file with english wowhd_arm_panel file. you could download full english wow hd program.

Does it work? I installed and restarted and tried to setup with my BTJabra 620 headset. This headset works very good with music, but when I tried with SRS WOW, the enable check box gets unchecked whenever you try to changed something to the gliders. All the gilders are set to 0% and the Truebass can't be changed.
I hope I am doing something wrong, but I wanted to try the app.

Guys, the software only works with a wired headset. A BT headset is not recognized as a headset and the software doesn't work.

well, I think it depends on your personal preferences. I found 70/50/10/20 (last two between 0 and 20, but more likely 10) and TruBass on 60% and 300 Hz (internal speaker) work fine for me.

Well... for me... my speaker is slightly defect, I fixed the scratching noise by disassembling and poking with a toothstick through the rear cover until the membrane was as it is supposed to be.

------ sth: offtopic: is there a chance to change my nickname? As I joined the forum I didn't expect me to write in here but... ... ... (keinenplandavon = noplanaboutit so....) but I'll have a look in the faq, maybe I have overlooked something.

Is there a little problem with this app? This is what I saw yesterday:

When i plug in my earphones, it changes from "Internal (Stereo)" to "Headphones". Then i tried every single setting and adjusted it for my needs.
Now music over the headphones is really better :)
But when i unplug the headphones, it changes back to "Internal (Stereo)". And here is the problem: The same settings, which make the sound over my headphones louder, are quieter when i play music over the internal speaker.
So without headphones i have to switch off SRS WOW to get the better sound.

This is a pure speculation but is this because our prophets have only one mono speaker in the device? It tries to play it in stereo, but we have only one speaker, so the half of the sound has gone.
What do you think?

yes you are right LordDeath srs wow hd try to use stereo internal output. as you know normally this driver created for xda atom and xda atom has stereo internal speakers. you must disable srs wow hd effect when you dont want to listen music. i think srs wow hd could work better with htc wizard.

Remove the old one installed before installation of this one.

Just suggestion from me.. If you want hear Music with best Quality... Better to use MP3 Player or an IPOD, instead your Prophet..

If you break up your speaker, and still have warranty, it is okay.. You can go to service center and get it be repaired.

But for users who dont have warranty anymore.. You should be carefull guys.

I tried this cab with shadow touch 1.o, but it doesn't work with my BT headset. I will stick with my 2 registry tweaks wich give the same solution as this SRS app (sound and bass boost).

Anyway, it would be great if it works, because I could switch on and off, which I can't now.

I've checked the original Taiwanese post, this SRS app is for MSStack, not for Widcomm. I don't know, if there's difference between BT drivers of ShadoW 1.0 Clean and Touch. It works fine by me when Headphones be chosed in SRS WOW HD interface.

SRS WOW is working with my BT headset. I simply forgot to softreset after installation. Now it is working and I can tell you it sounds great!
