is it possible to make my athena change to portrait when i take off the keyboard. Its kindof annoying, because snapvue is installed, and even on 96dpi, i can only have 1 other today plugin. So when the kb is removed, obviously, there wil be more space for the lower today plugins.
so is it posisble?
also, are your microdrives slow? [see post 4]

This requesthas been posted somewhe before. If I remember right there is no solution to directly meet the request.
What I do is to assign a hardware key to the rotate screen function to easily switchorientation.

if your using one of the PK roms (and you have the fingertouch keyboard installed) you cab just type !rot to rotate the screen
you can type it anywhere and you dont even have to have a text box up for it to work , just tap it on the keyboard.

thanks guys. this kinda helps.
now.. another thing, are your microdrives exceedingly slow?
mine is really shit. and is a brand new ameo. i try and copy stuff to it via Vista MDC, and it says device not responding when the backlight dims, and goes super slow. its really annoying.
im getting an 8gb micro sd, and an adapter obviously, just stick it in the slot, and its done. this is very annoying though

It will be slow regardless of whether it MD or storage card unless you use wm5torage version 1.73 and NOT the later version.

i tried it, and its miles better. i never needed this with my tytn, because i just slotted the micro sd into the pc. saved me 40 quid too, ebcause i was going to get an 8gb micro sd, but now i just bought another 2gb one, with a mini sd adapter.
thanks

Further tip for you:
It's even faster if you connect to a USB 2 port on your PC.
Cheers.
