This rom is maximum approximated to official - clean and contain no additional soft and themes. Speed and stability. Native OEM part and drivers.

- OS 5.2.1938 (Build 18128.2.2.0) - the last official build from Kaiser
- 8Mb poolsize by default
- Office 6.1
- NetCF 3.5
- Big Storage
- Earphone speaker sound boost while calling
- Fixed camera (no artefacts while overclocking)
- Fixed IE slow scrolling
- Fixed sound scheme
- No certificates problem
- Chinese regional settings
- No MMS

- SMSDRFix started without running from start menu

Changes from version 2.3:

- Certificates problem fixed
- Old java removed - you can install what you like :)

Update instructions:

1. Download g4.zip attached if you have G4 device or download g3.zip attached if you have G3 device. Unpack it to some place on you PC. You will have 2 dirs inside: "jumpspl" and "update"
2. Copy 3 files from "jumpspl" dir to the root of your Prophet (near Windows folder)
3. Download and unpack nk.nbf to "update" folder on your PC

Download link in attached file: korand_wwe_2_4_cert_fix_en_download.txt (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=63249&d=1198752430)

4. Disconnect your device form PC
5. Run "SPL.lnk" in the root of your device from File manager. You will see a white screen
6. Connect your device to PC with USB cable
7. Run "ROMUpdateUtility.exe" in "update" folder and follow all steps
8. You can see process indicator only on PC! Screen of your device will be white during all update process. When finished your device will reboot.
9. Enjoy :)

If you want to change poolsize - download "korand_wwe_1_change_pool_size.zip (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=60387&d=1196709949)". This is patched Paradis utils. Just connect your device to PC with Activesync and run .bat with needed poolsize.

I installed Voice Speed Dial 1.2 (VSD) on Korand 2.3, but it seems the voice speed dial can't be activated by answer key on the bluetooth headset. and i can't dial the people with voice tag through bluetooth. It just shows on ppc the dial interface popped up, and if you press answer key on bluetooth one more time, it will automatically dial the latest phone you received or called.

before I used Shadow 1.0 clean, in which VSD was installed. and VSD works well with bluetooth.
anybody has idea?

I guess, just wild guess, the "Thirty-something TTFs" are the culprits.... Hopefully the whole TTFs can be removed in the next version, and BiG THANKS to Korand for all his great arts!!

Oh, yea! Java's removal is GREEEEEEEEEAT. Just check the windows folder--all java related graphics have been removed! THANKS A LOT!!!

Having some problems with mmc that apparently neither some reg tweaks could fix, I'm studying the problem in the specific..

This ROM is really a breakthrough: it's speedy and very light and stable

Maybe a little more battery demanding than Crystal V5 BigStorage but a lot less buggy and more usable.

And the possibility of choosing the MMS and the Midlet manager is definitely the right one

That's an "A", the plus is reserved to that font fix in the comm manager :D

Copy them to \windows\fonts\ on your PPC and its all set :)

Maybe put all the fonts other than system-needed ttfs into the folder PDFFONTS, whose files can be deleted post-flash, is a win-win strategy if the thirty-something ttfs are really indispensable for your need. Thanks for your attention again^^"

I installed HTC comm manager ..

Earlier its font were missing, after pasting these fonts it is ok.

I have no problems with provxml in my rom. I hear about problems like you have from another man - and he put all provxml to rgu to fix this.

Try to analize all chain of importing provxml. Possible, some dir or dirs missing in Windows or Windows\system folder.

I;ve just tried the latest and it doesn't support A2DP - it does connect but can't playback.

In a last-ditch attempt I applied this old cab and restarted and it worked. I have no idea why it helps.

Yes, I had post here without a valid answer. How To implement WPA2 protocol in this Bigstorage ROM?

In home, I have only WPA protocol, but in my work department I have to live with WPA2 protocol. So rest to flash Gullun ROMs

No one else has answered my question yet, so I'll try to do it myself...

As what I've found out, it depends on the AKU-Version (Adaptation Kit Update) used in ROMs. This ROM I assume is based on AKU 2.2 (Build 18128.2.2.0), but only the newest AKU 3.?-Versions seem to have WPA2-Support. To get this thing going I believe deep changes would be necessary. I don't believe there will be a "fixed" version soon...

Please korrekt me, if I'm wrong.

Because I'm not familiar with cooking something other than noodles, I'll go back to Gullums ROMs...

a tip to accelerate opera-mini
modify the registryas below:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\tcpip\Parms] "TcpMaxConnectRetransmissions" = "1" (the default value is 3 as in Korand's v2.4 as SKTools recommends for speed priority).
though value "1" is not always helpful for every rom, it does shorten the waiting period perceptiably to open/display the same pages with opera mini based on Korand V2.4^^"

Yes you can, it is only the nk.nbf file that contains the ROM. The other files are there for the RUU. The RUU is (should be) universal, once you use HardSPL or JumpSPL.

first of all I'd like to say that I just love your clean roms! great work. since I also find WPA2 and AES encryption a missing feature of your roms because of the use of AKU 2.2, I'd like to repost a link to the latest AKU 3.0 from german telekom. maybe its possible for you to extract the drivers from it and use them for your roms, since it DOES support WPA2 and AES encryption. the rar contains only the OS.nb from that rom.

This is great ROM. Supper fast. Thanks Korand. But there is an issue on WIFI. I'm creating a connection using WAP-PSK-TKIP, it kept saying I'm keying wrong key, but I used the same Key to another computer and PDA, there is no problem.

The "phone" button issue no longer exists in version 1.01b^^

And...

1. As in many other related applications, Wifi can be turned on and off only if it's activated with the built-in comm manager earlier.
2. Actually, neither sound slider nor camera and comm buttons work at all when the system is taken over by Pointui.
3. There is no such issue as in your case in mine. However, to put a link of home.exe into the start folder is highly recommended by the official site.

My personal idea is that both malfunctional buttons and the wrong display of recurring appointments are the most urgent issues waiting for the authors to deal with.

P.S. I love Korand 2.4, not because it is so-called official, but because it is "clean", for whatever the "official" is is IMPOSSIBLE to be defined when all the available WM systems are bundled with customized-applications from each device-provider such as HTC, Eten, LG, Samsung, Ausus, etc.
By making the system cleaner, Korand has made our lifes easier and more efficient while the real official roms only retard the barely acceptable speed the pure WM system gives us.

by the way, and again, a tip for Chinese readers:
For Chinese readers needing only Chinese characters support without the interference within the format of Date.... (Chinese characters interwine with English letters..@_@)
Simply choose HongKong for the regional settings and, bang! everying works--media player supports Chinese titles while only English for Date on the today screen!
