I created this cab to ease the installation of the SCLPF cube. These 3 packages usually come separate, so i decided to combine them and fully setup the FTouchFlo.Config file so that one could install everything with ease.

I DID NOT CREATE THE TOUCHCUBE, FTOUCHFLO, OR ADOBE FLASH LITE. I SIMPLY REPACKAGED THEM!

NOW FINAL!!.. SHOULD WORK WITH ALL DEVICES.. AND NOW INCLUDES FTOUCHFLO CONFIG

Alright.. This is for anyone having problems installing or would like a TOTAL installation with FtouchFlo, The Cube, And the Links Placed Into the SCLPF Folder in the Start Menu. This CAB file will do all of this.

!!MAKE SURE TO UNINSTALL FTOUCHFLO, THE CUBE, AND REMOVE THE STARTUP LINK THAT IS PLACED IN THE /WINDOWS/STARTUP FOLDER. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK THAT FLASH LITE AND FTOUCHFLO ARE NOT BUILT INTO YOUR ROM!! SOFT RESET THE DEVICE, AND INSTALL THIS CAB TO THE DEVICE MEMORY ONLY. DO NOT INSTALL ONTO THE STORAGE CARD!!!!!!

!!Please note that if you have FLASH LITE Built into your ROM with a kitchen, You will have to edit the FTouchFlo config file.. The files for cooked programs are usually in the /WINDOWS Folder.


If you are having problems with installation make sure that you do not already have the programs included in this cab installed on your device. Send me a PM, i'am happy to help you set your phone up.

This is very simple..

If you already have Adobe Flash Lite 2.1 installed pick the version without it INCLUDED.

If you do not have FlashLite installed pick the version with it INCLUDED.

If you have any of these programs cooked into your rom try the COOKED version. COOKED ROM files are usually in the /WINDOWS folder.

Current Issues:

!!!!!Make sure that you run the Cube settings link in the accessories folder and setup the locations to your Program Links!!!!

call history only work when I m in an english environment when I change to Greek it does nothing.
Also in quick dial it only accepts pictures, thats not major, but when it accepts a single phone ex mobile when I press it asks which phone I want to call

This obviously has to do with the language of your phone.
Check the Program Files folder name to make sure that it is correct.

will this cab work on a tilt?

It should work on all WM5/WM6 devices.

I have WM5.0 (OS5.1.195(build 14955.2.3.0) on a O2 Atom xda exec phone
Maybe I need a rom upgrade? Anybody can help?

This is because you need the Compact NET Framework. You can find this at Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=9655156b-356b-4a2c-857c-e62f50ae9a55&displaylang=en

Ok i must be missing something
I tried to jnstall this but can not seem to get it working.
I also tried some of the ROMs withthe TouchCube and have not had any luck figuring our what I was doing wrong.
HOW DOES IT WORK ???

With the HTC rom or any non cooked rom you should be picking the one with FlashLite and FTouchFlo UNLESS you've already installed these programs.

With cooked ROMS you will need to find the location of FlashLite and FTouchFlo (IF COOKED IN-CHECK YOUR ROMs thread...) and adjust the FTouchFloconfig.txt file.. (USUALLY IN /WINDOWS folder...)


Hello everybody,
I think I found the solution for the not working cubes!!!
It's the FTouchFloConfig.txt file that's giving the problem...

The line should look like this:

UpDownApp:\Program Files\Adobe\FlashLite\saplaywm.exe
UpDownAppCmdLine:"\Application Data\SCLPF\StartApps.swf"

Take a special look at the "\"-sign and the program files map (for the Dutch rom's for example it is: "Programmabestanden").
When I installed it, the sign was the wrong one ("/")!!!!!
After changing it and to "\" and a soft-reset, everything worked!!!

Hope this solves all the not working Cube problems.

ALWAYS!!!!!!! Even when using this cab, check the Ftouchflo config file. Use the FtouchFlo config program to double check the locations of the programs... Never bypass that step.

Have you tried just to change the path Program Files to Programme in FTouchFloConfig.txt? Maybe this will solve it.

I installed the program on the device (form the cab) and every time I turn it on I get two messages: Error: corupt SWF Data and Error: Failed to Load content. I have set time out at 200 and gesture waiting delay at 700.

Extract this archive into /Application Data/SCLPF. It seems the SWF files are missing 1kb of data after being installed by this CAB. This should repair it until i can make another CAB file.

I installed the cab. All cube graphics are in place and the cube rotates as it should. However, when I touch any of the icons to activate the programs (e.g. internet explorer, email, etc.) nothing happens. Is there something I need to do further? Are there any values recommended for the TouchFlo config file? Is there a source, website, etc., we can get some directions?

Also, when I hold the stylus over any of the icons of the cube (any side), the small circle of blue dots forms and asks me for different options, one of which is to open a file, or go "full screen", or pause, rewind, etc. When I choose to open a file, it gives me the details of the SCLPF file and then the entire file explorer diagram. What does one do with these options?

Create links to the specific file that you want to open with your File Manager, and place them in your Programs folder. I recommend Resco file explorer.

Installed on ROM with Flash cooked in. After editing FTouchFlo config txt it launched fine.
Had a black screen when minimizing cube... until I configured some of the links on it - then all worked fine.
Does it always load up with the Music/Photo/Video screen? Seem to remember something about it from the other thread.

Never mind didn't read the 1st post all to well. Just had to edit the FTouchFLo config to point to the adobe flash in the windows directory. Problem solved works great.

Nothing to do with the cube. It has to do with the Flash Lite program. Try messing around with the program and see what it does.

Okay GENIUS.. I never claimed this was mine. AND IT ISNT. I simply say this is MY CAB that i joined all the programs together and made sure that it worked properly. I also link to both efrost and slither in my original post and state to DONATE TO THEM.

A very helpful cab for a newbie. One problem I'm experiencing is that I don't like having pictures attached to contacts. when I select a contact for the cube, however, it doesn't come up as a name on the cube but looks as if nothing is there. is there anyway to have the person's name come up on the cube?

hallo Johhny, try this;
1.go to fttocuhfloconfig
2.on tab Gestures change the run application to flash lite (you might have to scroll down to find the flash lite)
3.tap done, and now you are ready..

it is worked for me, and i do not even need to perform soft reset...,in case it is still not work, try perform soft reset...otherwise u have dig in here

Wow, I was just trying to download this entire set today, and I was hoping that I would come across this thing combined. And then I came across this CAB file!

I have yet to install it, because I have a few questions. If all of these errors are fixed, then I really only have one quick one. The two links mention Ftouchflo, but the first one only mentions the cube clone, and the other only mentions Flash Lite 2.1. I need all three though. I'm fairly certin that I should download the second link that mentions Flash Lite 2.1, but just to be sure I want to know if it includes the cube clone as well.

Under the accessories folder in programs you'll find a program called SCLPF cube config. use this to set the links up.

it works on my htc kaiser, been looking for this cube for weeks on this forum. i probably installed it properly before and didnt know, becuause i only just found the new folder that appeared in My programs.

hi i am a new poster but have been lurking and doing lots of searching about this badass development and decided to give it a try

i got the program to install however im have a hard time getting the actual cube to come up after ive setup and saved all the buttons i want to use in the menus. once ive saved this i cannot use the cube ive just set up.

am i missing a step?

i got the program to install however im have a hard time getting the actual cube to come up after ive setup and saved all the buttons i want to use in the menus. once ive saved this i cannot use the cube ive just set up.

am i missing a step?

i am using the htc vogu100 with the latest rom 1.17
and i downloaded the cab. version with all 3 programs
i also did not already have flashlite

down point was that the buttons werent map'd and i had to do them myself.

if this is not the case for you guys, please tell me why lol! is there a button to auto map the icons?

Every PocketPC has different shortcuts in the programs menu. This lets you pick the ones that are in your phone and have them properly work.

With the HTC rom or any non cooked rom you should be picking the one with FlashLite and FTouchFlo UNLESS you've already installed these programs.

With cooked ROMS you will need to find the location of FlashLite and FTouchFlo (IF COOKED IN-CHECK YOUR ROMs thread...) and adjust the FTouchFloconfig.txt file.. (USUALLY IN /WINDOWS folder...)

Sorry, didn't mean the start folder. That's the FTouchflo file. I meant I put the launch cube in the SPLCF folder as suggested above. Maybe I'm trying to launch it with the wrong file. Which file actually launches the Cube program? Besides it working when I try to launch it, how else can I tell if it is running? Sorry to be such a problem, but this one has thrown me for a loop. Usually don;t have problems like this.

Just want to thank you for this. As a noob, I have read numerous posts and spent tons of time trying to get a good cube working on my Mogul. Found Slithers, but thanks to my noob skillset :o I just couldn't get it to work...

Then, I found this thread. After a few attempts I finally uninstalled my FlashLite, TouchFlo, previous Cube install completely then installed your all-in-one CAB and it works great so far!! Still have some tweaks to make and a lot to learn, but this was a huge help for me.

I think I found the solution for the not working cubes!!!
It's the FTouchFloConfig.txt file that's giving the problem...

The line should look like this:

UpDownApp:\Program Files\Adobe\FlashLite\saplaywm.exe
UpDownAppCmdLine:"\Application Data\SCLPF\StartApps.swf"

Take a special look at the "\"-sign and the program files map (for the Dutch rom's for example it is: "Programmabestanden").
When I installed it, the sign was the wrong one ("/")!!!!!
After changing it and to "\" and a soft-reset, everything worked!!!

Hope this solves all the not working Cube problems.

I tried to wait till I can buy unlock version of HTC Touch and not the Tilt, but my old phone died and this doesn't have TouchFLO, sooooooooooo disappointed. I need to try to unlock so I can read Asian characters on this also.

Btw, I was able to install the cab to my Tilt, but I don't see any effect when I set and saved the 'Cube Settings'. Am I missing something? I don't see TouchFLO turned on much like the once I've seen from the images on this thread. What else do I need to do to set things correctly so that my Tilt will function like the HTC Touch? ALWAYS!!!!!!! Even when using this cab, check the Ftouchflo config file. Use the FtouchFlo config program to double check the locations of the programs... Never bypass that step.

hI i got the cube running on my HTC TYTN II, its great just one question how can i map buttons to things like settings ect. it only gives me the options for installed proggrames.

e.g theres a button that is for memory, so how do i point that button on the cube to memory.

after i downloaded and unzipped the files i moved them from my computer to the phone memory in the phone. then i opened the folder and clicked the setup and the explorer opened up and ran some STUFF:confused: this took awhile. after this was done i was able to scroll with my finger but no cube and no files that are discussed in the forum. i need step by step instructions for a REAL NOOB;)

hi. you dont unzip them on your computer you drag the file straight to your phone via activsync, and then you install it from your phone to were you dragged it. then ones its installed go to start>proggrames> Accesories> ftouchflo enable this. then go into the SCLPF folder and run cube settings, settup your buttons. save exit and then go to the today screen and slide your finger from the bottom of the screen to the top to start the cube.

Jieve, you know what, that happened to mee as well, what i did was to goto the original thread and installed each program(.cab file) seperately. And it seemed to work.


I do have a problem tho, the cube program was loading fine when i was moving my finger from bottom to 1/3 way into the center, but my phone died coz of low battery and when i started it back up, the cube doesnt get activated when i move my finger from bottom to center (1/3), any1 have any ideas?

EDIT: Nevermind, I fixed it, all i did was to download Schaps FtouchFlo config app and did some minor modifications....

The thing you have to do is play with it.. The programs are there you just need to set your links up, make sure FTouchFlo is running and soft reset the device after making sure of those things...

hi. dont unzip the file on your computer, drag the file straight to your phone via activsync, and then you install it from your phone to were you dragged it. then ones its installed go to start>proggrames> Accesories> ftouchflo enable this. then go into the SCLPF folder (also in the accesories folder) and run cube settings, setup your buttons. save exit and then go to the today screen and slide your finger from the bottom of the screen to the top to start the cube.

as you said you dont have flash installed, the version you need is:

the complete FTouchFlo, Adobe Flash Lite 2.1, and CUBE Version.

the other version does not change this one to colour its a entire different version. which is compatiable with cooked roms. so im not sure if this version would work on your kaiser. you will have to ask someone else about that.

anyway if you follow those instructions you will have touch flo running.

also i reccomend after you got it up and running install htc album. from the following link with that you can zoom in and out of your pictures rotate and go throught your photo album using touchflo, its really cool.

before you start in any installation i reccomend you remove the version you installed in your memory card.

Hi mate your just going to have to put some of the data on your phone on to the storage card, eg, songs, pictures, software etc.

and if that message keeps poping up and does not let you cancel just a do a soft reset.

that seem strange that you getting that message then. connect your device to activsynce and check how much space is taken on the phone itself.

hi my storage is 64mb, i think as you only have 13mb this is most probably why its not installing and coming up with not enough memory.
on the memory page, below there is a link which says "find large files using storage memory"

click on that, and see what is taking up your storage, and see what you can delete. just make a backup on your storage card or pc.

Hi after you installed it to the device did you complete the following steps:

go to start>proggrames> Accesories> ftouchflo enable this. then go into the SCLPF folder (also in the accesories folder) and run cube settings, setup your buttons. save exit and then go to the today screen and slide your finger from the bottom of the screen to the top to start the cube.

Hi in order for that to work you need to make sure the pictures on the memory card are in a foler named " My Pictures"

p.s make sure you use captial letters on the start of each word otherwise the phone wont pick it up as a folder. e.g "my pictures" - wont work . "My Pictures" will.

Ive installed this okay.. and when i select adobe flash lite in the program options.. the menu screen comes up.. but when you select the buttons.. they flash showing they're being touched.. but nothing else happens.

The first thing i did was to copy SLCF from the packed rar file to the windows folder on my mobile, as mentioned. There was NO separate cab for touch flo 1.4.1 by efrost, but just one cab for all.

What else did you do? I am exactly where you were when you posted this thread.. I can lauch it when i click Launch Cube in the Accesories/SCLPF directory.. and it launches after i exit Cube Settings.. And half of my links don't work.. Don't know enough yet on how to make my own or what not.. or how to edit them properly.. I don't even think I have a good viewing program.. as in.. I don't have a program on my pc that I can view my whole file directory.. I am just using what it download for when I installed my HT Touch.. so the Active Sync and the file it gave me to sync it with.. so I unzip my install into My Documents/Temp ..

everytime I go to raise my cube it loads the old one.. not the new one.. The only only program I have is the Mobile Registry Editor.. that free one..

I'm sure its just editing some config files but I can't even view them I guess is the problem..

but yea.. you posted right afterwards about fixing it.. just curious what all you edited..

Also I noticed all the versions are outdated in this zipped .cab I downloaded from the very first post.. Its FTouchFlo Version 1.0 it looks like.. and for the SCLPF Config App is Version 1.0.. So my guess is I need to update these?

Alright.. well I can bring up the cube.. my gesture for it was Up-Down.. I am leaving it at that for now cause the other one (the stock cube) is still from Down to Up..

But don't know what program to use to edit the other files I need to I guess.. I guess that's the only thing stopping me from having it 100%.. well that and the link files.. and changing up some icons since I dont do tomtom and stuff like that.. So anyone care to point me in the right direction? I searched around in Slithers thread but man there's alot of pages..

alright.. well im about to delete the ftouchflo file from startup.. once i got more familiar with it and searching around the files on the htc touch instead of thru the computer.. going back and reading the extra quotes on the first post helped alot.. i think that's what that other guy was doing as well that figure it out right after he posted what i originally want to know..

now its the link thing and changing the icons.. i see how to make new links from files on here.. but i need the email to go to the messaging part but already have my email there like it did before..

also the videos.. i select the link for pictures and video folder but it doesn't work.. and i can't find where like a configuration one is for say the wheel icon in the lower left..or games folder..

also i dont have the option to delete the ftouch that is stock on the htc touch.. so how do i stop the old one from coming up.. i can't set the uno skin as down to up..

He ithe CUbe is in general very good tool (and fanzy) for gettign access to items fast.
But some times I find it a bit tricky to get it to show (finger gesture) How to I create a shortcut that I can use in my rltotay skin etc etc. to show the cute since it sometimes is easier just to use the toutch.

anyone know where I should look? or how to go about this?

These are the latest program files.

My suggestion to anyone having poblems is to make sure you dont have the programs included in this cab (FTouchflo and Adobe Flash Lite) installed. If you do make sure that the config file for ftouchflo is pointing in the right direction.

Also, after installing this cab make sure you enable ftouchflo by using the config tool. Use this time to double check the locations of the programs also.

so since FTouchFlo came with my phone, I probably don't need that.. I don't think the Flash Lite came on it, didn't see it anywhere before, as in the Program Files..

but probably all I need to do is install just the skin then? and it should override my other cube?

Because I could install this full package just fine.. but my other cube was always there even after i removed it from Startup.. and I can't set the SCLPC as the going down to up like my old one.. it won't let me set it that way and I am sure its because that other cube is still there..

Ok.. It shouldnt work on touch devices because that device comes with the cube.. Make sence? this is for devices without cubes to give them the cube function of the HTC Touch..

You would have to find a rom with it disabled or keep trying..

Windows folder is /WINDOWS

I recommend Resco File Explorer.

All icons are placed into the ACCESSORY folder. Since this is ACCESSORY.

Hi I wanted to be able to press an icon on the screen to show my cube.. the solution with rltoday was to add the following in the xml file.

<OnClick File="\Application Data\SCLPF\StartMain.swf" />

Just pointing to the correct flash file.

Now Can I easy launch the cube when I am on the start screen without getting all other things popping up.:)


can anyone elaborate a bit on this? I'm not too familiar with xml files. thanks in advance.

k i've installed the app...got it to work no problem for the first time...i can scroll and it'll move...i tried to go to settings to make sure that the buttons work...but none of the buttons work...none of them...so im stuck at making the buttons actually correspond

any ideass

You will find a link under Start - Programs - Accessories

Look for Cube Settings.. in there is where you have to assign each button.. Just open the file named Cube Settings and you will see how to do it.. its pretty self explainatory.. :)

I am not sure.. that's what I am trying to do now.. I have the HTC Touch.. aka the ELF.. and I want to know how to skin it.. right now I installed his full package he has in the first post.. so I have the cube working from sliding Top-Bottom..

But I also have the one that came with my phone that works from sliding Down-UP..

I dont want to have the Adobe Flash Lite, FTouchFlo 1.4.1 that comes with this package if I don't have to.. I am just looking for a way to skin the cube that comes on our phones already..

When I find out, I will def let you know..

I dont' think you can get to it using XP viewing of the Mobile Device that pops up when your in your My Computer settings..

I was initially uploading all programs and devices into My Documents.. The folder my Active Sync made for me to move files over.. then I was just copying them into my Temp thru my phones file browser.. if that makes sense to ya

You need another File Explorer.. As was mentioned to me.. Resco File Explorer.. If you look hard enough online you will find it.. :)

This is the setting in ftouch flo configuration:

General: put an check on ENABLE FTOUCHFLO
Timeout: 100
Gesture waiting delay: 500

Gestures: Up-Down
Run Application: \Program Files\Adobe\FlashLite\saplaywm.exe
Command line parameters: "\Application Data\SCLPF\StartApps.swf"
Exclusions:
Disable Ftouch in the Following applications (specify program name):
PocketCM.exe
TomTom Navigator
iContact.exe
jmm.exe
Picesl Browser

Don't know if any setting is wrong or need to setup any other setting. Please help me to resolve this issue. I have an Palm Treo 750

When i slide up-down on the main screen (which is at the HTC home screen nothing happen). Should the slide up-down run the htc cube?

Could you also please show me how to double check this instruction step:
Step 13. Double check each guesture in FTouchFlo is configured to start any of the four Flash startup files listed below :
