The directories in the German WM6 version don't match.
For example directory "start menu" is "Startmenü".
The PointUI Software does not find the programs.

I have loaded it on my Trinity running AX3L 3.12. It all seems to be working ok except that the time won't change to 24hr mode and the dialer won't work in the call history. I've tried changing the region etc., it still dials and I get a message from my provider saying that it is not a valid number. If I go to my normal call history in Windows 6, it works as normal.
Also, touch flow doesn't seem to work proplerly outside of the Home environment. I have uninstalled my 1.41 touchflow because it conflicts with the Home app gestures. So now touchflow only works within the Home app.
If I go to Wifi settings, Home takes me to the GSM data connection settings, not Wifi settings. The battery icon at the top doesn't indicate charging, and although I haven't tested Home for very long, it may be a battery eater...too early to tell for sure.
For the first incarnation, this looks very promising.

Tried!
Works!
Lived 2 minutes.
Uninstalled!
I don't really like the touch things, neither flow not this.
Plus, it hung several times while I tried to set weather location for my city.
Also, I have my Trinity all black, this is nice, but blue.

Looks nice but is there any easy way to get into the contacts from this software?
Would be nice if one could change the colour of it too.

Version 1.0 had some language issues.
Version 1.01b drained my battery within 1/2 day.
Best "Finger"-Software but not stable on the P3600.

It's pretty good. Wonderful program for my device. Good looking. But it's much better to have setting option. Anyway, thanks man.

had it on for a few days.
nice to use but it doesnt like taking me to agenda one and instead uses the standard microsoft diary etc.
Have tryed to unintall but it just will not at present. Forum is down so no help there.
If these people can make a such a usuable front end and agenda one is so good I wonder what they get paid for at microsoft.

What about themes???? i would love this but i hate blue, its so boring and business like, i want to have black or red... all we need is option to change colour and also home background picture... Calling all rom cookers..... Crack the program open and fiddle about with it. I am going to do just that now...

Very nice find! I saw it just after I laid my hands on mate's iPh#$@ne. I really liked it's UI and build quality. I can't do much about the construction of Trinity (it's not too bad anyway), but I've customized sh1t out of it to make it thumb friendly since I got it.
If/when this application improves and will become configurable I may have an all in one solution. It may be a small revolution for some.

I have had the same experience - tried for a day - impressive GUI, scrolling etc., but IT WILL NOT UNINSTALL from system, even when not running and asked to do so.....I had to hard reset my device....

I'm using it without any troubles, BUT it does run better with WM5 rather than WM6.
Indeed, with WM6 (FAMAN v4.03 FR version) I wasn't able to see the "Windows Mobile" Settings (all sub menu such as Personal, Connections or Others).
With origianl HTC WM5 rom, everything runs fine.
For me, this phone has almost everthing I need, except a user-friendly GUI.
WM5 or WM6 is ugly, not friendly, even complex... BUT with PointUI Home it "reveals" itself :)
Of course, it still misses some few stuff in the UI, but it is a really good step forward for WM in general to bring smartphone the GUI they need.
