Can't get Active Sync to Work Anymore

I updated to the most current HTC ROM and now active sync won't connect to my phone.

Everything on the phone is working fine... I just can't get activesync to find the phone.

The phone appears in windows explorer. I'm on XP.

Any tips on how to get activesync to recognize my phone? I've tried an uninstall/reinstall and it didn't work.

figured it out. my stupid firewall. not sure yet how to set it so it doesn't block, but i'll figure it out at some point.

fyi to other wm and activesync newbies - your firewall can prevent phone connection!
