I installed the above, which I found in the Kaiser forums, on my Touch Cruise and it feels snappier and no error was displayed. Clearly it came with the version 2.0.7045.00.
I have attached a text output which was generated on my device, for interpretation by more sharper minds here ;) Can we have a benchmark to see if the non ROM installation makes any difference

I thought .net CF3.5 is required by the applications coded to use it. Neither could it speed up existing apps coded with .net CF 1.0/2.0 nor your device.
Do you think I'm wrong?

Carty..

Carty, yes, you're correct that ".net CF3.5 is required by the applications coded to use it." But that is not the only benefit of 3.5. It also should speed up other apps that will work with 2.0. To make a long story short, .NET versions generally are backwards compatible and new versions generally are better. The issue -- and victoradjei please correct me if I'm wrong -- is whether you'll see this performance increase without uninstalling 2.0. And you can't uninstall it like you'd remove a program. It probably takes a new ROM. That's why victoradjei is asking for a "benchmark to see if the non ROM installation makes any difference." victoradjei, I hope I have this right.

yes i would but hardspl isnt working properly. i think we might need to get oli a device first before a hardspl is done bc raskell device might not like the spl bc its a proto or it might be the polaris spl all together. dont worry we keep trying though to do it without device.

How much more do we need to get Oli's device? An update would be nice, like on the athena project. If we have money for the first device, it is still in stock here in Nederland, so I could buy it and mail it to you guys

so far the donations are standing still at 85USD. about 683 is needed for a device thats using mobileplanet unless we can find something cheeper. im pretty sure if i had the device in hand we would get a hardspl done as im around cmonex and olipro enough during the creation of hardspl to be able to get it done with them enough but of course i plan to get them the device first.

use the one in my sig that says polaris project. i forgot to tell tom to just give the polaris project link but told olipro he might also get donations to his paypal. just send to the polaris project account as it is easier to keep track of them.
btw all donations are always shown in the polaris project thread the with donators name and the amount.

Guys if an application was compiled using .NET 2.0 and your mobile has .net 2 & 3.5, the application will use .net 2.0.if 2.0 isnt installed then the app will attempt to use 3.5

I think, all cooked kaiser ROM's with NETCF 3.5 are not better.
