View Full Version : help please..problem about XDA II WM5 stock up during start up...

my xda 2 stocks up during start up..i dont know why it happens..but during start up, it freezes..and can no longer be used..i tried everything...but, still didn't help..i upgraded my OS to WM 5..it works smoothly..but after about 4months, this came to happen.. i tried reflashing the ROM..the process says it's ok..but whenever i open the device, it still display the previous problem..as if nothing is changed..my owner information still displays..then hangs.. now what should i do?? reflashing should have erased all the previous data..but why is it happening??? guys, i need help please..

well we have almost The same problem my frend..
I also falsh my rom from windows mobile 2002 to wm6.0 and my screen hung..

Try to restore
It's about 50 : 50 to success.
Upgrade without running activesync on PC. (task manager, kill wcescomm and rapimgr on the running task list.)
** Connect PDA to PC**
Then do hard reset while press camera button. So, you should press camera and power while resetting. (Do this while connected via craddle/cable)
if it's worked, you should see 'USB' on your screen.
Run your update utility on your PC.
Then you'll see that your PDA has no rom. Restore your ORIGINAL rom version. Your device will reject of you don't.
