At First: Sorry for my english!
Hello everybody... I'm very sad that they don't sell the Touch Cruise in Germany. Everywhere it can only pre-ordered. :(
When i saw the Touch Cruise at the first time, it was a little bit like my first love.. :D
And since that day i couldn't sleep calmly. It sounds like a psycho, i know, but don't afraid...
I'm open this thread for all people in Germany who are also waiting like me.
If you are from Germany or have informations about the german release, you can write it down here. I hope i have mine in the next 2 weeks.
Have fun!
PS: I ordered mine @ Amazon.de for 529,- € without any shipping costs (normally at Amazon).

I also pre-ordered my TC at Amazon.de for 529 EUR.
I called them on Friday and asked about the estimated delivery date since the web site doesn't list any. The lady on the phone told me that the internal system stated January 17, 2008.
It seems we have to be patient...

It could be... But if HTC changes the delivery date again, don't be worried about it. ^^

Hi
I have bought the O2 XDA Orbit 2 - this is the same hardware but in an other case. I love this case it is like the HTC touch (elf).
You can buy it in the onlineshops in Germany for 499,-- Euro incl. Original TOMTOM 6.32 with Europe Alps Card+Carholder+12V Caradapter. Free an without locks.

Consider yourself lucky! I have been to 6 or 7 O2 shops in my vicinity and none of them had any Orbit2 in stock. Either they were already sold out or they hadn't gotten any yet. *sigh*
Personally I think that the case design of the Orbit2 is much better then that of the Touch Cruise. I would like to buy that device. However, I do not like branded devices. I had a vodafone branded Samsung once and it was horrible!
So I will have to wait for amazon.de to get some TCs.

Also: Ich habe mich heute bei Amazon anrufen lassen (5 Min. Is schon alles shit... :( Also ist warten angesagt. :)

I REALLY hope that amazon and others do get some TCs soon or I will be SERIOUSLY tempted to purchase a XDA Orbit 2 instead.

@badaccent on german because difficult to translate for me :(
Edit: You can answer in english! ;)

I do not plan on changing anything in my tariff, plainly because I can not change anything yet. My tariff is locked until July 2008.
And frankly I do not prefer one design over the other. It is true that I would get more for less if I bought the Orbit 2.
So the question for now for me is: What is the DIFFERENCE between Touch Cruise and Orbit 2? Obviously the hardware is the same, so the differences must be in software. I would hate buying the Orbit 2 and then discover that it has limitations, i.e. in features, software (GPRS monitor, Sprite backup etc.) or such compared to the Touch cruise. That would warrant the 30 EUR more for the TC.
Can anybody tell me?

I don't think... You must look at PPC-Welt-Forum (http://ppc-welt.info/)
i think there was a post about the differences.
Believe me, it think it's only the o2 design and the o2-home-screen whats different.
P.S.: Orbit 2 has SpriteBackup included ;)
