Hello. I have HTC Touch Cruise with latest official wwe firmware. By the touch keyboard installed with firmware i can type on 5 europian languages (eng, ger, fra etc, and change this from keyboard setting) I want include opportunity typing on russian lng (graphical files already exist) Somebody know how do that? u need to put in registry HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCHome (Tabsettings) as a new string and the value should be 1,2,3,4,5,6

Hello,
On a TC, running a WM6.1 ROM, the Contact manager sould link the Birthday field of a contact with the Calendar, so that whenever you enter someone's details, you needn't repeat the same action in the Calendar. Filling in the Birthaday field of an Outlook contact doesn't seem to trigger any reaction of the Calendar application, or any, for that matter..
Is there any tweak to enable/activate this link/function?

This problem is solved!!! (and you have this problem only if you are on other then english localization)
Do this:
"HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\Image" there is a "SaveFolder_0409", change the last number from 0409 na 0405. Then softreset and you will be able to browse (in the touch cube) pictures you made and are stored on storage card

any tricks or tweaks can solve my TC's problem?
im playing music in audio player, and sometimes the voice commander will turn on automatically in the middle when the song is playing(when i din touch the phone at all). and i tried to "exit" it works, but it opened again. =/
and few days ago, TC going crazy, keep dailing someone
(eg, my last call - james , and it keep dails "james", i ended the call, after a while it dails again.. =[ i have no idea whats wrong but i cleared my call history and lucky my credit runs expired).

your handsfree might be responsible for voice manager/dial-redial, since a long/short press would execute exactly the same functions of the phone..

i didnt touch any button at all, and the vioce commander is on, and sometimes dialing to someone from my contact list =="

try using another hands free: you may avoid to press the button, but it may be broken, so that it 'presses' itself because of a dusted button or a loose contact. i dunno.. :)

I used these great tweaks in the past. Recently I have upgraded my HTC Touch Cruise to WM6.1 using the official HTC released ROM. Now this tweak won't work anymore:

2. Use 6 Tabs with htc home :

You need to edit your registry to get our music tab back,

HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCHome

Add new string,

Tabsetting = 1,2,3,4,5,6

You can change the order of the numbers to sort the tabs how you like

I would only need the quickdial tab anyway, the music tab doesn't interest me. But this tweak alltogether doesn't work in WM6.1. Does anyone have a new tweak to gek the Quickdial tab back on the home screen?

Headphones,
is it possible to disable CALL and VOICE MANAGER,
basically just disable the button.

while we can still listen to music, and receive call (it will be fine that we need to receive/answer the call via the phone button but not the headphones button)

something weird happened to my headphones, when i plug it in it calls random number on my contact list.. and sometimes continuously turned on the voice manager and stuff. so i think it could be the button's problem as theres dirt or something f**ked it up.

I am asking for a way to add more than one recipient in a time when sending SMS or EMAIL to more that one recipient.

I have to press the "TO" each time and only select one recipient. it is very bad when sending SMS ot Email to 10 or 15 contact at a time.
I use this a lot to send to my colleuges at work daily.

Does any one can help PLEASSSSSSSSSE

Open menu then click add recipient after that select the contacts to whom you want to send the sms or mails. Cheers.....

When I send a SMS, my HTC Touch Cruise (Win 5.1- Portuguese ROM) saves 1 copy in "Sent" items but also another copy of same SMS in "Received " items...

:mad: I know that is the same because if I delete 1 copy the other desapears too... and in "deleted" items there is only one. and if I send it to one of them (folder "sent" or "received") the other receive also the 2nd copy...

And I want get only one copy in "sent" items... How can I solve this?

Little tweak from me:

install the attached cab and change the Media Player > ASFCodecs .rm type from "video" to "audio" (without the speech marks) and reboot to play real media audio files through windows media player.

(I have tons of songs in real media format!) ;)

Of course you could leave the regedit as is and watch realmedia videos instead.

I know this may be rather trivial!
I am running win 6.1 on a Polaris with my today screen just showing the date only, but the problem is that it shows it in TWO LINES!! For example:

It does not matter which font size I use or which date format I put in (for the long date in Regional settings)

Anyone know how to make it a simple ONE LINE??!!!!!!!

I am sure it was like taht (one line) before!!!!

Perhaps an issue with your service provider? Mine is working fine, I hear intermittent beeps.

I have recorded voice tags but when I try to dial via the my voice the voice dial tries to match its own pattern and picks up wrong names. How do I make it recognise the tags? It used to work well on the O2 XDA II.

After hardeset feature came back. I think it was issue with Sprite backup which I was regularly used after last few flashes. Seemed to me that this program tries to be smart (and fails!).

I have to use back my polaris because my htc hd was stolen 3 weeks ago.

I install your full version in french of your rom M-amine 2.0 everything was working so well (almost as speed as the hd with htc rom !!!)

But 1 week of use and when i boot 20 seconds later service.exe crash.

This happen around 2 weeks long, and miracle last 5 days the service.exe (on the right top of screen that you can close app. and zap) was working as well.

And i don't understand :confused:why till yesterday each soft reset again service.exe crash.

Do you have any idea about the reason why ?

What can i do ?

I tried to activate the 6 tab feature but it did not work.
The reg-string TabSettings does not display the Contact or Music schortcuts. Only Home, Waether program and profile Tab.
I'm can disable the shown tabs with the Tabsetting but can't show the missing ones (Contact&Music)
It doesn't matter how many are enabled.
I Use the original Rom with WM6.1

Ask ROM cooker. Since there's no WM 6.5 HTC ROM for Polaris, that must be cooked ROM you're using. Maybe keypad style was ommited intentionally...

surely u can change the radio only
first downlaod hard spl and flash it
then get into bootloader and
run radio 1.59 or 1.64

Hi I have trying out the tweaks in this thread. I have made a setting using the Advanced Configurator Utility to set the Pressure Threshold Setting for TouchFLO to 'Very High' . After this setting I cannot make any entry using the touch screen ! ... Is there anyway that I can reset this setting. I do not want to do a hard reset if possible !

Hi . Could not wait for someone to suggest a solution. Finally have to do a hard reset and re-install all my programs and setting all over again.

After all this, I search the whole forum and found this tip that could have save me a hard reset. ie press the GPS button or button 2 (ie the button below the Green button) and press the D button at the wheel. This brings up the Align Screen and resets the touchflo settings to default ! A bit late though but learned a new trick
