Is the Herald the same as the wing? Or is the herald software just always compatiable with the wing? I was under the impression that the herald was a totally diffrent model from the wing, and from what Ive read ROMs and software is not compatiable from model to model ie the mogul and the tytn.

Sorry for the stupid question, but im still just learning about ppc's and the wing is my first. If I can search for hearld forums as well as wing, I think I could find alot more information.

Im also sorry if this answer has already been posted, or its just common sense since the wing threads are in the herald fourms....just looking for clarification.

Thanks all

The Wing is also known as the Atlas. The Atlas is just a variant of the Herald. The only real differences being the keyboard layout and the physical case, being blue and rubberized on the Wing. They're the same device software wise.
You can use Herald ROMs on the WING.
You can use ANY pocketPC software compatible with WM6 on the wing.
