I took something good from my O2 XDA Flame. :p

It comes from wm5 device and works fine in my kaiser and Cruise. After the installation do a soft reset.

Go to System Settings, open WOW HD Settings, put in SRS TrueBass Speaker ---> Size 400Mz, put in WOW HD Settings ---> Normal and the SRS 3D Effect in 30%.

It'll be an amazing addition, it actually works unlike HTC equalizer and te other app floating around(forget its name) :D. But it does'nt work on BT, major drawback.

See, the onlt complaint I could do is that, once you have SRS WOW activated, the volume is a little lower... I had to turn it off while having a shower (I use to listen to music while doing that!) because I couldn't hear a thing...

I'm experimenting with this cab. I cooked my rom using Alex cooking set. When I loaded up the WOW SRS settings, I get an error, There is no WOW HD driver loaded. The control panel will now exit. Am I missing some drivers?

Any chance this utility might damage the speaker? HTC's speaker is notorious for being low quality. On my old Prophet, I had to change it only 3 months after I bought it. The problem was so prevalent that the service center ran out of replacement speakers, and many had to wait several weeks.

Yeah, I also worry about that too. Kaiser's speaker looks so fragile, that I avoid hearing things through the speaker with the volume maxed out, or even with a sound booster like in TCPMP.

i don't beleive that you wait to listen music from kaizer external speaker :eek:

you need a stereo speaker package for listening music and kaizer's isn't for this job;)

but with hands free the music listening with this add is something else !!

i`ve installed SRS WOW HD on my fsc t830 and it`s only working with wired headset...i have moto s9 HD xD and it`s connecting excellent without installed SRS WOW HD after install it S9 cannot connect with A2DP profile as usual it only connects with hands free profile...I wish i use the "a2dp hack" but in registry there`s no entry bta2dp...so what i have to do? i have broadcom 1.7.6 and it cannot be replaced because there`s no any alternative rom for my fsc t830... ;(

I`ve found the solution in other topic xD the srs called old driver as wavedrvsnd.dll(or smth like that;)) but it should be btcedrivers.dll and from now it works perfect

First off, thanks panosha for this find!! Totally sweet. :)

Having an issue though, did what an earlier poster said to get it to work with my Bluetooth headphones and copied all of the parameters from wavedev into bt2adp, but now I get an error from my MSFT Voice command, it won't work. Looks like voice command doesn't like the key of OldDriver being switched from wavedev to btad2p. If I leave it at bt2adp, I get SRS WOW thruogh my bluetooth headphones, but no Voice Command at all. "Voice Command has encountered an error. Please restart Voice Command." lol If I leave the OldDriver key as wavedev, Voice Command but no bluetooth. Basically looks like Voice Command hooks the wavedev.dll and obvously Bluetooth hooks the btad2p dll. Anyone found a way to get this to work with Voice Command and Bluetooth headphones?

Ok,, tried program on Hermes(yes I know this is Kaiser forum) and worked well. I then decided to uninstall,mainly because I thought it might be fooling with my volume on phone calls. Anyways,, under normal Uninstall, do you think that registry settings would or should return to normal for the wave settings in Registry? Also,, curious to know whether anyone using SRS Wow, then tried out their Tom Tom navigator, and experienced voice instructions given from TomTOm to be hopping all over the place and incoherent?,, as if a residual after-effect from SRS was having an impact after the Uninstall..That's all. There is a version that has two more option. The driver is the same, but the control panel is newer.

i'm using this one and no problem with sound, everything is working fine. also using latest dutty rom.

I absolutely love the sound to SRS WOW on my TytnII, now using Dutty's latest ROM with it. I just cannot get it to work on my A2DP headset though.. Try the earlier solutions in the thread but will not get any sound when the A2DP headset is disconnected. Anyone has success with A2DP headset and have the sound working while the headset is disconnected?

Had exactly the same problem - killed all sound when I installed it and couldnt get bluetooth headset to connect properly.
Uninstalled and it was fine.
Ive now gone back to the older version without the 2 extra settings and all is fine. Its not rom related as far as I know cos I tried it on a couple of different roms.
Could be radio related I guess.

I'm pretty sure the latest AT&T roms are incompatible with SRS WOW - I lose all sound. Reckon its something to do with the built-in Voice Command drivers.
I've now reverted back to Sleuths rom because I missed it so much in my car.
The sound is just awesome on my stereo.

I also experience this. I am using official HTC wm6.1 and even after a soft reset, I still have no sound and the driver error. This program is one of my favorites!! I need to get this wicked thing to work!

I have yet to find a 6.1 rom that I cannot get ver 1.21 to work on. Install it and soft reset. unzip Add the control panel to /windows and soft reset(remember the .cpl is a hidden file be sure you have view all files selected). That should do the trick.

I got version 1.21 to work on my HTC Diamond but it messed up the MP3 playback, ie. the volume control has no effect on MP3 music playback. No matter what level I put the volume on (even in "silent"/"mute" mode), the MP3 will still play at the default volume constantly.

However, wma playback works normally. I'm using both the TouchFlo3D music player and Windows Media Player - both have the same behavior issue with MP3 playback.

A temporary measure I've done is to change the registry value of the audio driver "dll" @ HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\WaveDev to the original "Wavedev.dll". However, this will render the SRS control panel to be useless. Only the default enhancement is audible.

Any ides what's up?

cool! the v1.21 is now working on my Diamond. I previously used v1.28 on my tytnii but that did not worked with my diamond.

SRS wow does make the sound better but it lowers the volume of the sound a lot..I can't hear loud enough when it is installed,,even unchecked, it is low..once i uninstall it sound gets higher again..anyone knows how to fix it? thank you guys

Yeah, the sound after installing this was not changing, but i noticed that when i press volume up-down, that sound was changed!!!, anyway useless if no change on MP3 or Ringtone volume :(

Has anyone figured out a way around this? SRS WOW HD works great for music and other sounds while Not in a call. My problem, however, is that I have very low volume during a call. It seems that just the act of placing a phone call automatically sets it back to the "Internal(Stereo)" setting. I've tried flashing several different Roms and radios but no matter what I still have low volume during calls in both the earpiece and speakerphone. Any ideas??

This cab cause havock with my Kaiser with 6.1 of O2 rom, i couldnt ring out after several tries, the person i was ringing kept thinking i was messing about because all they heard was static.

Two things I'll say I did differently.

1. I was always installing it to my storage card.
Installed it to my device memory instead.

2. Always hit okay after install and then did a soft reset.
Did a soft reset right after the install before hitting ok.

hey i've used srs wow sd with my previous 6.0 version, but now i would like to use it with my newer 6.1 version.... when ever i install this program, it shows up in the system settings, but i am unable to open it. I was wondering if anybody is having this problem?

This actually made the sound worse on my device so I uninstalled it. My sound is great as it is.
I use Mortplayer, TCPMP and Coreplayer.

For people with missing sound after installing SRS WOW, this fixed mine:

"Dll" = wavedev.dll

I had no sound as well.
The above quoted register change fixed it luckily.

Okay so Installed srs wow on my Diamond (1.21) no problems, including the .cpl file in Windows. All appeared to be working fine (All be a lot quieter, Not v.happy bout that).....

so messing around with the settings in the conrol panel, and bang there goes all sound all together.

So i've uninstalled it and I'm going to look into Coreplayer I'm hearing so much about

Please make some research on the settings of this tool. I had a version of akkadoni's roms and after installing this tool the sound droped to zero and couldn't set it back at all. It wasn't a radio problem. .. just wanted to tell to be carefull, that's all!

I took something good from my O2 XDA Flame. :p

It comes from wm5 device and works fine in my kaiser and Cruise. After the installation do a soft reset.

Go to System Settings, open WOW HD Settings, put in SRS TrueBass Speaker ---> Size 400Mz, put in WOW HD Settings ---> Normal and the SRS 3D Effect in 30%.

does anyone recommend better specs or settings for the SRS WOW HD 121 on the kaiser?

For you and everyone with the same problem. Uninstall the program, reset, install it again, reset and you are done. That always solves the problem for me.

Did anyone try this Srs Wow Hd on Data Messenger? That is also a windows mobile 6.1 device. I installed this and like many other people i have no sound now. I modified this HKLM file also and no success.

If anyone has any solution,that would be really great.
